I’m not sure if we should expect Mike Wolfe and Frank Fritz of Pickers fame or some carnie from the State Fair of Texas to show up in Irving starting Wednesday. The house looks like a cross between a museum and a side show (the kind mom forbade me to enter) filled with skulls and skeletons … musical instruments (guitars, trumpets, cellos, trombones and more) … mounts that include the feathered kind, deer and antelope, and all things that slither on the ground. There’s antique lighting … model cars … oil and gas signs (outside) … toys & games … books … glass … and things I can’t even name. The sale runs 5 full days and let’s hope that’s enough.
