Every time we opened a box, we would all say, “WOW”. The items at this sale are dating from the Cretaceous period to present day.

This sale will be conducted differently than our normal sales. This is a location where we have had sales before. We brought items over for another client who no longer wants to move their pieces from station to station. The risk of these items being lost or stolen is too risky.  So, we have been chosen to sell the item a for this great family.

We will have security on site. There will be cameras all over the premises instead of a few places. We will have cases displaying the items and will work one on one with customers at the cases  with runners taking the items to the register. We will have individual pictures next week with prices.   We will have a dedicated employee working the phone for buyers on the sale days. We have priced the items based on hammer prices from a series of auctions across the nation. We will price the items slightly lower than the hammer prices keeping in mind that there are no bidder fees (which is a good thing). We will nationally advertise this sale and we will ship with the customer being responsible for the shipping and handling. If insurance is wanted, again, the customer will be responsible for that payment as well. Shipping will not occur until the payment has gone through.

***The items are of museum quality.  Please don’t come and try to argue the validity of the items. The owners did their due diligence researching the pieces . We have worked very hard cataloging the items and researching the authenticity just in case. We have an appraiser on our staff along with the owners being collectors since the 1960s and they have a family member who has a degree in History specializing in the Civil War. Yes, even the best of us can be duped. We have made sure to investigate to the best of our abilities to price the treasures accordingly.

The majority of the items are from the Civil War Era and actually from the Civil War: buckles, shoes, medals, bullets, satchels, belts, chains, Carte De Visite (CDVs), etchings, pictures, linen papers, and more

We have coins that are dated BC from Rome and the Iberian peninsula.

This sale has a LARGE collection of American Brilliant Cut Glass. Many have signatures in the glass. Please check out auction values to understand why they are priced the way they are. ABC glass started during the 1850s in the Brilliant period and artisans made these pieces to show off their etching/cutting talents. This period ended in the early 1900s. For the glass to have made it this far is amazing. The pictures do not do these pieces justice. They ARE truly BRILLIANT!

The furniture is also from the Civil War era. The wood is quarter-sawn/tiger oak. These are incredibly beautiful. Again, amazing shape for having lasted this long .

We have petrified wood, gemstones, agate, fossils, and more.

There is also a large collection of Slag lamps. There is one reverse painted lamp. We are researching the brands of the lamps this week.

The pictures posted today will be deleted on Monday of next week so that the new pictures can be uploaded along with a detailed list.

***PLEASE SEE INDIVIDUAL PICTURES FOR INFORMATION & PRICES  (Phase 1 of on Monday. More will be added tomorrow.)

The beautiful home is for sale as well  Come take a tour of this lovely home while shopping. We will have flyers ready for you at the register.

We are telling you, the items in this sale a crazy phenomenal. We never thought we would ever be able to handle the items that we have found in these containers. You have to see the pieces to understand what we are talking about.

We can’t wait to share the final list with everyone. We know many of you will say, “WOW”.
