Estate Liquidators-Spectacular Sale !!

Well, I have to say, this week’s sale is probably one of the most exciting sales ever, and well worth the wait ! We’ve been setting up for several months, finding really cool items, really gorgeous items, and getting everything priced and ready for your shopping fun.

The sale location is at 102 Oyster Bend Lane, in Lake Jackson. Oyster Bend subdivision is off Old Angleton Road. (If you get caught by the train, there IS a back way out of the subdivision, that takes you out to FM 2004)

The sale will start on

THURSDAY, September 24th, from 4:00PM-7:00PM

FRIDAY, the 25th, 9:00am-2:00pm

SATURDAY, the 26th, 9:00am-2:00pm

SUNDAY, the 27th, 10:00am-3:00pm

The sign-up sheet will go out Thursday afternoon, around 3:00pm. We’ll begin calling names from the list a few minutes before 4:00.

Friday morning, the sign-up sheet will go out around 7:45 0r so, and we’ll begin calling names in around 8:45.

This sale is for the estate of David and Emma Jean Tanner, long time residents of the Lake Jackson area, and wonderful supporters of the local symphony, the arts, the natural science museum, Brazoria County’s rich history, and more. Emma Jean was a proud University of Texas supporter and alumna, she was an educator, a world traveler, a snazzy dresser, she loved her jewelry, hats and shoes, she loved to entertain, and collected all the things she loved. This will be a sale you don’t want to miss !

Make sure you leave your cranky pants at home !!! The sale location will be crowded.

That said, there are going to be some ground rules for our shoppers. THERE WILL BE NO LARGE PURSES, BACKPACKS, CARRIERS ALLOWED IN THE SALE !!! NO STROLLERS ALLOWED !!

Because of the large number of breakables, and jewelry, we will have to limit the number of shoppers in those areas. I’ll ask shoppers to please look and choose items as quickly as you can, leaving them with the attendants, to pick up when you’re ready to check out, and allow others to take your place at the jewelry counters. Don’t think we’re trying to hurt your feelings, or pick on you ! There’s just so much in the rooms,(especially where the jewelry is), we need people to look, shop, make selections, leave it with the attendants, then move to another area of the home to shop, so others have a chance to shop. You can always come back for more !!!

Please note, there will be security officers on duty in the home. There will be extra people working in the sale areas, to answer questions you may have. There are rooms of beautiful clothing items and accessories, in every room, I kid you not. There are a few tools in the garage area, but this is not a tool sale. If you cannot safely handle breakables, then please refrain from handling them. There are several showcases of vintage French Sabino glass items, please do NOT remove the items from the cases, unless you can do so safely, and are planning on purchasing them.

This IS a “you break, you buy” sale, just be aware.

Please be patient at checkout, the checkers are working as fast as they can for everyone. It’ll help them, if you wrap and bag/box your own items after paying.

We take cash and credit cards, and WE DO COLLECT SALES TAX. We do not honor sales tax exemption certificates, and haven’t, for years.

THERE WILL BE NO SMALL CHILDREN ALLOWED IN THE SALE AREAS, PLEASE.

Estate Liquidators does NOT provide loaders, carriers, nor pack mules. You need to make arrangements to have your large or heavy items moved.

Large/bulky items will have lavender two-part tags attached to them. If you want to buy the item, take the BOTTOM HALF of the tag, (I typed that really slow, so y’all would understand it), and hang onto it, until you’re ready to pay. If you change your mind, please find an Estate Liquidator worker, (we have shirts that actually have “Estate Liquidators” printed on our shirts-what a concept !), and give them the tag, so they can reattach it to the item.

I’ll apologize now, for any duplicate photos, there is so much in the home, I did some overlapping when doing the photos. Take my word for it, most of the items are worth a second look !!
