1. All items are being sold as-is, where-is without guarantees of any kind. Every effort has been made to properly identify and list known defects and condition, however we are not experts in the field of model railroading and may have missed a small detail on the conditin. Nothing has been tested to determine if it works properly. The transformers have all been plugged in and checked for working lights and signs of life. If they are listed in this catalog, then the lights worked and they hummed or vibrated indicating power at the time of the testing.
2. There is a 15% Buyer's premium added to every item you bid on so bear that in mind when bidding. For example, if you bid $100 and you win the bid, you will be charged $115 plux sales tax (unless you are tax exempt). The buyer's premium will apply to every lot you bid on.
3. You must pickup your won items on time or you may lose the item!. If you cannot make the scheduled pick up time, notify HammerDown at 512-954-3050 by text or phone so we can arrange an alternate pick-up time for you. We will work with you to retrieve your winnings!
4. Ask questions BEFORE you bid. We will attempt to find the answer you're looking for but bear in mind that we are not experts in model railroading.
5. Your credit card will be charged immediately following the auction. Shipping fees will not be included on the first invoice. Shipping will be charged separately once the items have been paid for and shipping costs can be determined. We use a third pary shipper that packs your items and is therefore responsible for any breakage or damage to your items during the shipping process. Your shipping bill will be sent to you from them and any shipping concerns will go through them.
6. If you are tax-exempt, you will need to email us a copy of your tax certificate. Non Texas residents will not be charged sales tax.

This is a timed online auction consisting entirely of the amazing train collection of Buddy Burk, one of the founders of the CentrA Mod Temple Area Model Railroaders. Buddy is a HUGE collector and can be relied upon to repair almost anything when it comes to model railroading. Most of his collection consiists of Lionel Post-War O gauge, but there is also Marx, Bachmann, Tyco, AHT and many others as well as different gauge trains, accessories, railroad themed collectibles, ephemera and books!
All lots start at $5.00 and there are no reserves! Buyer's premium is 15%. Sales tax with be charged to Texas residents. If you are tax exempt please supply us with a copy of your sales tax certificate.
All lots are open for bidding now and start to close at 7pm on Thursday, Sept. 21st. This is a "soft close" auction which means that each lot ticks down to zero from a timer. To prevent last second "sniping", the timer will add on 1 minute every time a bid is placed within the last minute. Therefore, truly the highest bidder will win.
Register now and bid the maximum you want to go. The system will bid on your behalf up to your stopping point. If someone outbids you, you will receive an email notification informing you that you have been OUTBID. If you want to raise your bid then it is a good time to do so. Each time you are outbid, you will receive notice about it and always have the chance to raise your bid.
Pick up is in Liberty Hill, TX (just outside of Austin) on Saturday, Sept. 23rd from 10am to 3pm. We are also willing to ship items through our third party service providers.
