⁸(Read This, Then Come In & Have a Grand Time)
Welcome in. Mind your step and your elbows. JK’s isn’t responsible for accidents, slips, trips, or spontaneous bouts of clumsiness. Enter at your own risk, keep your eyes open, and enjoy the hunt.
1. We take cash, credit cards, debit cards, and Tap to Pay. Your wallet can stay relaxed.
No purses, backpacks, or large bags allowed. We like our treasures to leave with the people who paid for them.
2. We can’t answer item questions ahead of time. Prices, sizes, and details were handled by a whole crew of humans, and no single one of us holds the full map. The answers live at the sale. Come see, touch, and decide in person.
3. Payment is easy and modern: cash, credit, debit, and Tap to Pay are all welcome.
4. Big things are a team sport. Please bring your own help for lifting and loading. We can’t assist with moving heavy items. Everything is sold as-is, where-is. No refunds, no do-overs. Have a good look before you buy.
5. Large items wear removable purchase tags. If you pull a tag, that means you’re buying the item and taking it to the cashier right then. No tag pulling while you wander and think. No building little “maybe piles.” If a tag is off and no one has paid for it, the next curious soul to ask may walk off with the prize. Hesitation is the thief of furniture.
6. When you remove a tag or claim an item, you’re expected to follow through with the purchase. At checkout, you may change your mind on one item only, not a cartful. Items set aside without payment may be returned to the sales floor so everyone gets a fair shot at the good stuff.
7. Keep young children close at all times. Little explorers are mighty fast, and we’d rather not play hide-and-seek around fragile things. We don't want broken items... or broken kids. Keep them safe.
8. Before the sale begins, we’re unable to answer calls, messages, or emails about prices, sizes, or availability. The real answers live inside the house. Come see for yourself and let your eyes do the choosing.
No holds and no pre-sales before doors open. Folks queue up in good faith to see what’s pictured, and we keep that promise. The treasure hunt starts when the doors do.
9. There’s a holding table so you can set down what you’re purchasing, and go hunting again. Don't abuse the priveledge by leaving items on the table permenantly, and only take what belongs to you when it's time to checkout. Also, we can’t guard items left behind, so if it’s precious to you, keep it close like a secret recipe, or check out and take your items to your car, and go for as many rounds as needed.
10. Be kind to the neighbors. Don’t block driveways or mailboxes. The driveway is for loading and unloading only, and for our crew to come and go as needed. Park with manners and you’ll earn silent gratitude from the whole street. Park like a muppet in someone’s driveway and you’ll earn the opposite. You can’t see the granny behind the curtain across the way, and you can’t see the mum wrangling kids for a doctor’s appointment, but they’re real people with places to be. Let’s keep the peace and the parking tidy.
