Estate Sale – “Plano” (Collectables Galore)

This week we have a great sale in Plano with a wide range of brand name collectables from smalls to larger size items.  After years of collecting the owners are moving and have decided that they are leaving a very large amount of items.  This means; each room will be packed with a large amount of collectables.  If you are a brand name collector you will want to attend this sale early.  To assist the home-owner with general security, we’ll post the address on our website and other internet listings Thursday morning.  This three-bedroom home features the entire house filled with interesting collectibles as well as brand name traditional items.  Please see the room-by-room summaries below for detailed information about items in this sale.  There are many well-known signed items.  Some items are new, and many are in “like new” vintage condition.  There are plenty of smalls in the two glass cases by check-out and we encourage you to come early for the best selection.  We distribute sequential numbers each morning to customers waiting to enter, thereby enabling those who arrive early to wait in comfort in their vehicle.  Our customers have told us they appreciate our use of “tear tags” for larger items.  If you tell us that you are interested in purchasing one of these items, your first name is written on the back of the tag that is brought up to the check-out area.  That way, we can presume that all items without tags already have a buyer on site.  When the buyer pays for the item at check-out, a member of our team retrieves the item or places a “sold” tag on the item for later pick-up by the buyer.  We assist our customers with removing large items from the house to encourage efficient and safe removal of all items.  We look forward to seeing you at the sale!

Front Porch:  As you approach the front door you will find some very nice items.  There will be some nice Yard art in the form of frogs and bunnies, there is also a set of three (3) flower pots with floral print.  There is also some cast iron animals, and two (2) Asian cast iron style temples and then we have a hanging bird cage.  There are lots of interesting decorative pets, as well as a heavy concrete bird bath along with some very nice terracotta pots.  So make sure that you are here early in-order to get the best selection.

  Entry:  When you entry through the fron door you will find the entry way which is full of unusual items such as; a Rattan magazine holder, Hand painted Howling Coyote, and a concrete Monkey.  There is an awesome decorative painted entry chest, a nice potted fern plant.  We also have a 1996 awesome 16” pink glass Andrea by Sadek Tin Chi Bronze Crane table lamp and there is also a nice rectangle framed mirror.  Thjere is also a wooden head that is carved, a very nice palm print, and a wrought iron wall hanging along with a metal wall hanging.  Then we have a very nice elephant palm lamp with a wicker shade (BNI).  The we have an artificial poppy plant with a very nice metal pot, and a 1867 Bible (great find) “The Holly Bible” arranged by subject in a nice decorative box and finally a metal birdcage which is a wall art item.

Living Room / Checkout Area – features a Peanut gallery firefighter – Pig-Pen, Swarovski boxed fish and fox.  There are two oil lamps by Ron Mynatt of Callahan Mountain Studios, Arkansas (blue lamp is signed).  There is an Eskimo with seal, Chinese male and female figurines, crystal ashtray signed and Wedgewood sterling cufflinks, (vintage).  There is a vintage Seiko watch; brushed silver with blue face and a heavy antique cast iron J & E Stevens Professor Pug Frogs, “Great Circus Feat” 1875 and it still works – what a great find.  We also have a J. Devlin glass art coaster set, a Murano glass large bubble fish and a Murano multi colored clown bottle.  If you like snowmen; we have a snowman that is glass, or a Royal limited crystal perfume bottle and a Century Persimmons cookie press.

  There are cases of sterling jewelry (most are vintage) and them we have rings, earrings, necklaces and more.  How about pocket knives, key chains, men’s and women’s perfume / cologne and so much more.  We also have a vintage Bakelite Dominoes Top Grade by Butterscotch.  There are collectable coins in folders and singles as well as single collectable team cards.  If you are a train buff we have a 1950’s Lionel Train Set (Jersey Central) with a Lionel transformer.  There is a great three cushion couch by Ethen Allen with arm rest covers in like new condition.  On each side of the couch we have a Satsuma square block end tables marble top in “like new” condition.  Then we have a great area wool rug that is approximately 6’ x 8’ in great condition.

  There is a great designed Rattan arm chair; it holds a vintage Mickey Mouse stuffed toy and there is also a great rattan lamp with rattan shade (BNI).  We also have a Varro Negro Oaxacan vase and a Mexican Lava Rock Pot, There is also a great metal lamp with shade (BNI).  There is a small square black side lacquered table.  How about a nice modern lamp with a great shade (BNI), or we have a great round rattan table with great legs and a nice design with glass top.  On one of the wall we have a large Round Metal Mirror, and then there is an Edger Bouzy Haitian art painting signed.  We have an interesting item; a Solitaire crystal Concord Jet Plane with 24 caret accents, there are many Limoges items covered boxes and small plates.  We have a pair of Orrefors crystal candlesticks.  There is a great vintage lace table cloths, and a San Ildefonso Pueblo Black on Black pottery tea cup and saucer.

  Then we have some signed Val St. Lambert triangular crystal ashtrays.  By the fireplace there are a pair of cranes.  We have two pictures that have used Tempera paint a woman and a man.  There is a great painting by Mary Cranfill Curtis in a wonderful frame and a Dewey Davidson Scotch Copy 91.  By checkout there is a JFK Stamp and a JFK Stamp with Coin.  We have a great popular vintage four comic books framed.  We also have two embroidered framed pictures, 33 vinyl records a great collection.  We have Gedo’s, some fossils, collection of rocks, and two vintage radios; a 1948 RCA model 8-BX-5 Bakelite and a 1946 Philco model 46-350.  By checkout we have a Peruvian Reverse Painted Glass Mirror hand painted and a decorative antique by Peru folk artists.  Mid-Century Trinket box – Incolay (INCOLAY stone is a complex combination of various colored natural minerals and coupling agents) music box.  We have a WWII Military Army clear glass trinket or ashtray very collectable.  There is a really cute hand carved stone otter by Glacial Ice Age Sculpture/ Alaska, and finally a very interesting piece is a vintage brass Fire Side trivet stand pedestal (3 legs) with grape design.  Then we have a bone and black trinket tray by Century Hose Potter, and finally an awesome spray paint art measuring 16’ x 20” by Martin Martinez Cosmo and it’s signed and there is no frame.

  Dining Room – features Waterford crystal vases and paper weight.  There is a vintage 1940’s Daisy Bell Staffordshire Shorter England hand painted ceramic spill vase bud vase.  We have new in box some vintage classic Nippon Japan/Happy Holidays Dinnerware desert / cake plate.  We have a Riedel Cornetto single decanter which is perfect for both decanting young wines and removing sediment from older wines.  We have a very nice Powell Bar cart with both Wood and Metal.  There is a small collection of beer steins, There is a Gold and silver Lamp with a like new pleated shade (BNI).  There is a Mary Cranfill Curtis modern painting with no frame.  We also have some nice brand name purses like; Dooney & Bourke, Milly, Coach, Kate Spade and Fendi.  There is a really cute whicker and metal small table with grapes, lots of interesting bar accessories and a large metal wall sculpture / disk, and then we have a butterfly water color that is framed and numbered that is 384/395 signed by Richard Williams.  There are two framed plated by Thomas AD. Foster, then we have a Lina Liu Blossom Watercolor that is signed and number 1395/1950.  We have two Mikasa Stemware which are new.  We have an awesome and very different rectangle modern dining table with built in wine rack with a single drawer on each end with three shelves.  This modern table has six (6) unusual dining swivel chairs with great leather seats.  We have an great area rug that is 5’ x 7’ which is under the table.  There is a collection of beer tap handles, some silver plate, wine accessories and bar glasses.  We also have an Asian blue and silver tea set in a great box.  There is also a Mark Fletcher 1920’s “Market Day at Tamazunchale” which is a signed and framed etching.

  Kitchen / Eating Area – features a great table that can either be round or add a leaf it turns into an oval table.  This is a rattan bottom with four (4) rattan swivel chairs with cushions.  There is a great Wine rack with a small shelf.  Then we have a (21) piece tile picture with a Dutch theme that is nicely framed and signed by BunSchoten.  If you like Grandma Moses we have a July Fourth custom framed print, and a nice bird picture with a great matte which is nicely framed.  If you are a big fan of Elf products we have (4) multi drawer storage units with a great solid top.  We have a vintage oval set of four (4) wood TV trays with storage stand in great condition.  There are 3 Blossoms Chalk ware heads which are hand painted; one of the three is rare collectable.  There is a vintage glass top picture tray that is hanging on the wall with an Asian flare, we have Heidelberg Pottery, Strong tone pottery and Sherry Pottery, and then we have a large Microwave True Cook Plus oven with sensor touch.  There are several brass trivets which are collectable especially the one that is; Williamsburg CW10-10 Queen Ann ten inch.  We also have a vintage Electric Teapot Minamiyama Seitosho White Rose Tea Pot w/ Cord made in Japan and there is also an Ironstone Victorian Ware.  There is a NEW Insta Pot Power Cooker plus 8 quart pressure cooker, Keurig 2.0, some nice crystal vases.  We have Depression glass in pink (good pieces) to fill in your sets.  Then we have an interesting find a collectable Goebel oil and vinegar set in a container, some Fitz & Floyd items and some new glass storage bowls with locking tops. 

  Double Garage / Gardening / Tools / Xmas – features a very nice collection of Christmas Ornaments (some are Hallmark Keepsakes), and if you are looking for vintage tools and tools boxes get here on Thursday.  We have cute Nutcrackers, a white three (3) shelf unit; there is a nice rectangle aluminum table.  How about a shelf unit with six (6) adjustable shelves, Fitz & Floyd Christmas items, and we have a Seymour Ironing Board.  We also have some Precious Moments ornaments a seven (7) foot Christmas tree with lights (needs some bulbs replaced).  There are lots of outdoor and indoor chemicals and cleaning products.  We have a wall of lawn and garden tools, a Costco folding table, and a Lifetime Folding table.  We have a nice patio area rug that measures 6’ x 4’  There are two (2) propane tanks, one is full the other is half full.  We have a portable clothing rack which has some presidential Halloween masks.  There is a metal four (4) drawer filing cabinet, a Werner 20 foot extension ladder, two (2) folding chairs and a Tricam step ladder.  We have a Porter Cable # FN250B finish nailer, a Bostitch # SB-1850BN Brad Nailer, and a Panasonic Flat Front Television.

  There are many brands of vintage bottles such as:  Coke, Dr. Pepper/ Beer.  We have a nice Bostitch six (6) gallon Air Compressor with hose, and a B&D Mega Mouse Sander.  We also have some Sea Crest Flippers and some 1964 Impala Super Sport Hubcaps in great condition.  We have some men’s casual shoes / footwear in nice condition as well. Make sure that you come early for the best selection of items.

  Family Room / Live Plants / Patio – features a vintage cast iron Elephant bank and a cast iron Forest Ranger.  We have a variety of caps that are: Dallas Cowboys, Arkansas Razorbacks and a New York Yankees and more.  This room have the CD’s and DVD’s and the collectable 1984 Topps chewing gum bottle caps complete set 1997, then we have a box “A” and a box “B” of collectable cards which spans the 70’s to 90’s and they contain; Football, Basketball, Baseball and Football Cards.  We have a ventriloquist doll whose name is Lester, and a vintage Mickey Mouse that talks from the 1960’s.  What a wonderful find – we have a Shields Fifth avenue ceramic horse desk caddy, and we have some interesting antique toys and we also have some high end men’s shoes and boots.  There is a really nice smaller dark wood two door storage cabinet along with some tropical foliage, in addition we have five (5) large really nice live Palms in different sized pots and they are:  King Sago Palms with shiny dark-green leaves with rigid mid-rib, glossy leaflets that curl along the edge growing in a circular pattern. The trunk is thick and shaggy and all of them are in wonderful condition.  Make sure to come early for these palms.

  We have an aluminum rectangle patio table with a glass top, and there are two (2) matching Sunbrella patio chairs with outdoor cushions, and a matching Sunbrella patio love seat with outdoor cushions.  Then we have two (2) very nice side tables with painted tops.  There is a tall brass lamp with a really neat oval shade (BNI).  If you are looking for an area rug we have a great one from Ethan Allen in New Zealand wool that is 8” x 10’ and a metal wall art hanging palm.  In the corner we have a great wood shelf; there are five with glass inserts and brass feet.  There is a metal and glass wall planter in awesome condition.  We have an art water color by Dave Maple of a Watermill house.  There is also a tall square bar height table with a glass top and there are two tall bar chairs with arms with outdoor cushions.  There is a large black and purple porcelain decorative pot, an vintage brass wine bottle and ice bucket combined this item is an awesome find and a new in silver carry case poker set.  We also have a NEW Cool Breeze Brass Fan, and a Roy Roger and Trigger vintage toy (missing his hat) how sad.  Make sure that you come early for the best selection of items.

  Master Bedroom Hall – features There is a nice framed cowboy in crayon by Ken Sowell, and a very large red leaf  flower on canvas.  There is also a vintage mink stole and a Kirby G4 with all the accessories.  There is a framed picture by Phleat Boyd limited edition that is signed in 1975 and is # 205/500.

  Master Bedroom – features there is a very nice rattan hanging wall shelf, and two identical palm lamps with shades, (BNI).  There is a vintage smoking table, and a three drawer night stand / side table.  We have a very nice desk set that is a rattan and wicker vanity / desk and a rattan and wicker matching chair.  There is a great rattan bottom bench with Ostridge covered cushion top.  There is a vintage black trunk in the open closet floor in great condition.  Currently it holds a variety of decorative throw pillows.  There is a vintage four (4) drawer dresser made by Little Folks Furniture Company on casters.  We also have some more artificial foliage, and a six (6) drawer dresser with mirror by Young and Hinkle.  There is a vintage wedding dress in size small.  There is a lovely glass lamp with shade and hanging crystals (BNI). There are some vintage wood carved heads, Fenton Vase, Restoration brand bath accessories, a Hull vase, a Malawi carved wood face.  There is a Schwartzwalder; Black Forest Vase with relief Forest Cabin.  There is a William and Boch phoenix coffee pot with lid and an original Modell Alt Tettau Royal Tettau anno with lid.  There is a nice king mattress and box spring by Sterns and Foster, and there is a King Head Board with rails.  On the desk we have a collection of wood carved painted and tooled items.  We have a nice oil lamp, a double high elephant lamp with shade (BNI).  There are lots of bedding on the bed and under the small rattan desk.  We have some nice vintage hankies, and small purses along with a wood breakfast tray.  We have a box of some very nice scarves and wallets and clutches on top of the chest of drawers.  Make sure to come early for the best selection. 

  Master Bathroom - features some work out clothing and robes.  We also have an assortment of Kotex and Kleenex products, Mouth rinse and natural insect Repellant, Listerine and powders.  There is also a nice assortment of pill containers, some all-purpose travel and make-up bags.  There are new crutch pillows, and a back support brace.  There are body enhancers, and a nice shower shelf.  How about some nice bath matts, and there is an assorted make-up, soaps, lotions and blushes.  We have assorted body washes, nail enamel spry dryer, Shea cream and lotions, eye shadows and more.  There are brushes, combs, curling irons and hair dryers.  We have a nice lighted make-up mirror, and an electric towel warmer.  There is also a nice over the door shoe holder and an electric warming pad.  There is so much in this master bathroom so you’ll need to attend early in-order to have the best selection.

  Front Corner Bedroom – features lots of really cute stuffed animals including some that are talking, beanie babies, and Homer Simpson integrative talking figurine and some of Homers companion toys.  There is a lovely four (4) drawer wicker dresser with a nice glass top, and we have a vintage brass lamp with no shade (BNI).  There are two (2) nice artificial plants with nice pots and another small lamp with nice shade with crystals (BNI).  There is a metal bench with a nice cloth covered top.  We have another dresser that is vintage and this one has five drawers.  We have some nice bath towels, and a nice wood stool and a large bag of very cute stuffed animals.  There is also some very nice luggage in this room; small carry-on with wheels to larger check in luggage on wheels.  We have a nice small six-sided rattan side table, and then we have a tall narrow dresser with rattan and wood.  We have a full rolling rack of women’s clothing in size small to large.  We have women’s tops, pants and shoes.  There are some Chico’s, Talbots, Ralph Lauren and Liz.  We also have women’s coats and jackets.  There is a large box of small knick-knack and collectables that will be priced as marked.  We also have a wash bowl with matching pitcher and a nice oval mirror and some vintage framed wall art.  There is a framed beveled glass mirror and a metal wall art piece.  There are some comical taxidermy frogs.  There is a lot of nice items in this room so make sure that you attend the sale on the first day for the best selection.

  Back Bedroom / Office / Electronics – features Time life series books; World War II - 19 volumes, the Old West - 13 volumes and the Life History of the United States - 13 volumes.  There are other current to collectable books on the shelves as well.  We also have a novelty Puppy Phone boxed – Telephone not used.  There is a Royal HG120 12 sheet Shredder. And a very nice wood desk with key board drawer.  We also have an HP Photo Smart Printer/Scanner # 7520.  There is a Dell Inspiran 24-3455 Touchscreen 86B Windows 10 all in one in great condition.  There is a Panasonic 5 CD changer 5 speaker radio.  There is a great desk lamp with double light bulbs with a metal shade (BNI).  We also have a Karron & Karden sound bar with sub woofer SB16.  How about more electronics; we have a Westing house LD TV 32” # LTV-32W2 with remote @ desk.  We have a number of vintage pictures and drawings for you to look through.  There is also a Samsung # LN-T195H TV with Remote @ desk.  There are two (2) Cheyenne Lamps with Shades (BNI). There are also two (2) vintage brass spot lights (BNI).  There is another vintage desk lamp (BNI) and a Harbor view signed picture by Richard Williams 328/500.  There is a Coka Cola 15^th anniversary Olympic picture framed.  There is a signed Bald Eagle painting on feather by J. Martin 2007 and a signed painting of two men riding horses by J. Taylor.  How about a nice Tiger Woods Winning Framed Picture or a Jack Nickolas Winning framed picture and finally we have a Arnold Palmer Framed winnings picture.  There is a round vintage table with leather top and claw feet with casters, and a rolling hanging file folder.

  In the closet and hanging on the door on over door hangers are men’s shirts, pants, jackets and shirts.  They are brand names of; Chaps, Izod, Sports and Cowboy.  There are some religious items and a nice Lane twin sleeper in a nice print fabric.  There are two really nice wood book cases that have four shelves.  And one smaller wood book case with two shelves.  There is a vintage entry table that needs some new glass.  There is a red office secretary chair with arms.  We have a pair of marble horse head book ends and there is a pair of metal Golf book ends.  There is a children’s Horizon book set and a six piece set of twentieth century classic book set.  There are board games, and an eight piece Book of Life book set and a five piece Greatest Literature book set and finally a 4 piece the New Complete Medical and Health Encyclopedia book set.   There is a working vintage Bank Slot Machine and a new Bushnell Binoculars with extras.  We have some office supplies as well and as a box of paper, folders and dividers as well as photo paper.  There is also note and envelop set, calculators, paper clips, and more.  Make sure that you come early for the best selection. 

  This is a three day sale, and we will be discounting all three days.  Remember that all our customers must wear a mask that covers Both the nose and mouth.  Please be patient while you shop and remember that we will have wipes and hand sanitizing liquid at the checkout area.
