Carriage House Auctions takes every reasonable care in preparing the online catalogue for the guidance and convenience of the buyer, including descriptions and photographs, Mistakes and/or discrepancies will be corrected as advised but Carriage House Auctions takes NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY MISTAKES OR DISCREPANCIES.

CONDITION OF AUCTION ITEMS:
All items are sold AS IS, WHERE IS, and Carriage House Auctions assumes no responsibility for the correct description, dimensions weight, authenticity of or any defects in any lot. The prospective buyer is responsible for determining, condition of item for their use before bidding, and Carriage House Auctions will answer any questions or provide extra pictures up to TWO DAYS before Timed On-Line Auction starts to close. Items can be examined prior to the auction at the address and time obtained by calling the administrator.
PLEASE NOTE: As the books, we sell come from many sources we show three condition categories.
1) LIKE NEW, this is a book with virtually no marking or wear.
2) VERY GOOD, this is a book that has some wear.
3) GOOD, this is a book that has been used and particularly the Dust Jacket has some wear and slight tearing.

Some times. we will list the book under one category and separately notate Dust Jacket condition. If the picture does not show condition adequately, please call for more pictures.

Size and weight of the book are provided for your reference.

PICK UP OF AUCTION WINS.

All items for local pick-up must be paid for within 24 hours of the buyer receiving an invoice from Carriage House Auctions and picked up at the address and time specified. Items being handled by the buyer's freight forwarder must be paid for within 24 hours of receiving an invoice from Carriage House Auctions and picked up by freight forwarder within THREE days of making payment. Carriage House Auctions will help you with finding a local freight forwarder if you do not have a company you use.

Any items not picked up within FOUR Days of payment being made will be charged a storage fee of $5.00 per day per lot. Payment for storage must be made before being released for shipment. Carriage House Auctions accepts no responsibility for loss or damage if items are not picked up as specified herein.

BUYER'S PREMIUM & SALES TAX:
All auction sales are subject to a 5% BUYER'S PREMIUM for Invaluable/auctionzip/eBay, and this charge will be added to the BUYER'S INVOICE. All purchases at on-line auction are subject to Texas State Sales Tax for buyers with a Texas address at 6.25% which will be added to your invoice. Out-of-state buyers and Texas residents with a valid resale certificate on file with Carriage House Auctions will be exempt from sales tax.

PAYMENT:
Carriage House Auctions accepts all major credit cards and PayPal for payment via WePay. If you wish to pay by LOC, Bankers Draft or Check, you must make arrangements with Carriage House Auctions management in writing.

PACKING & SHIPPING:
Carriage House Auctions will determine the method of shipment usually USPS Priority Flat Rate for shipments of less than 20lbs unless buyer advises a specific preference. For any item weighing more than 21lbs the buyer must make all shipping arrangements or pick-up locally. ALL GLASS OR OTHER DELICATE ITEMS WILL BE PACKED BY A PROFESSIONAL PACKING SERVICE AT BUYER'S EXPENSE AND MANDATORY INSURANCE WILL BE INCLUDED. PAID BY BUYER.

The following charges will be added to the buyer's invoice:
- A $20 flat fee. PROFESSIONAL PACKERS CHARGES FOR DELICATE ITEMS
- Insurance for item or items with a value over $20.00. If the buyer declines insurance Carriage House Auctions takes no responsibility for loss or damage.

For any item weighing more than 21lbs, the buyer must make all shipping arrangements or pick-up locally.

WITHDRAWAL OF AUCTION ITEMS.
Carriage House Auctions reserves the right to withdraw any lot at any time during the auction without giving a reason or explanation.

POST AUCTION BIDDING.
Post-auction bids may be submitted but there is no guarantee that any bid will be accepted. All terms and conditions as outlined above will be used and all selling parties will be entitled to their fees as outlined above.
