Description & Details

This is a sale of the household items and of the tools of a ranching operation.  If you need hand tools or kitchen items this is the place for you.  There are also a very good Whirlpool refrigerator, Kennmore chest type freezer, G.E. washer and dryer.  A king size bed, a double bed and one twin bed.  Dressers and chests of drawers, recliners, dining table and chairs, a real neat breakfast table, cedar chest, coffee table, end tables, T.V and T.V.armoire, stereo system, office desk, lady's drop front desk, glass, china, mower, compresser, power washer, gas grill, lots of christmas items, fertalizer spreader, three point hitch blade, yard and garden tools, wrenches, saws, axes, yard and patio furniture, and much more that we are just now finding.
This is a part of the cup and saucer collection that is here along with some of the other china and glass items. One view of the four wheel fertalizer spreader that we are offering.More or less a front view of the fertalizer spreader.Just some of the tools. You can see scoops, ropes, axes and more. Spring will be here soon and you just may need some of these. I don't think very many of you will need the cotton scales but they may be fun to have if they don't bring back too many bad memories of sore backs.More tools. I hope Donna doesn't see these because she may get ideas of my using them around the house. If you need to fix something this is the place to get some more tools.Jon took some of these pictures so I am not sure but I think that this is a solar fence charger and we actually have two of them..This is an electric power washer.Everyone needs a spray tank to fight the mesquite trees.Sharp shooters are not much fun but if you have to dig they come in real handy. If I were still painting I would grab this extension ladder myself.A fish trap is more like the kind of thing that I would rather have at my age than all of these tools. You may be able to restore this saddle so that it can be used but in any case it would be a great decorator piece for a western home or in a "man cave".I remember this kind of scale being used at the gin to weigh the finished bales of cotton when they came out of the press. We have the "P" to go with it. Todd used to have his dad's down at Two Doors Down and it made a great decorator piece for those of us who like unusual tools. One of these porcelain signs would go real well with that saddle that we have for sale.I love compressors. I have about three or four but I am still tempted by this Sanbord. This is a little Weed Eater edger.B.F. Risinger is one of the few people I know who truely likes to mow. I don't know if he has a Snapper like this one but when I have to mow (I dont like to mow like B.F. does) my Snapper makes it a little easier because I don't have to pull more than about twice to get it started.Grilling time will be here before you know it. This is your chance to pick up a Char-Broil gas grill at a real bargan price.I love all kinds of boxes and this old tool box is very tempting to me. It has some nice detail around the bottom and has the old surfaces with no paint. I have one that I had to strip latex house paint from but this one just needs a little Murphies Oil Soap and a good home.Tools, tools and more tools. I saw Snap-on, Craftsman, Ridgid, Crescent, Diamond Edge, and a number of other brand names on this table. The G.E. washer looks almost new and the dryer, also a G.E., is not a whole lot older. This little breakfast table has a blue enamel top with white flowers at two of the corners. It has pull out leaves on each side. The support mechanism on one of the leaves needs to be restored but the rest of the table is in good shape. This chest freezer is a Kenmore and is working well. This side-by-side refrigerator is a whirlpool, has water and ice through the door and is in great shape. This dining table has leaves and 6 chairs. Notice the selection of glass on the table and some of the blue depression glass on the display behind it.I don't know what all kinds of milk glass is in this collection but I did see some Westmoreland and some Imperial. Some of you can come see it and tell me about the other kinds that are there. There is quite a bit of cookware and as you can see there are a number of pieces of Saladmaster and there are also a number of pieces of cast iron. This little lady's drop front desk would be just right for that spot in your bed room or kitchen. This is a good office desk in oak.A nice double bed that we didn't have time to clear off but it will be easier to see on Wednesday.I haven't tried it yet but I think that this bed works kind of like a hospital bed.I don't think I have ever seen a peanut jar like this one. It is Curtiss candy company but this is for Spanish Peanuts. See the next picture for a close-up of the name on the metal band at the bottom.Curtiss Chicos Spanish Peanuts is what it says on the band that goes around the bottom of this old store counter item. You need to see this to get the full impact of what a nice piece it is.A couple of lamp or parlor tables. This is a nice coffee table with glass inserts. There is a matching end table shown at the far end of the coffee table. This is a very nice water fall front cedar chest. One of the chests of drawers. We have been listening to this stereo and it has very nice bass. This is a nice flat screen HD T.V.Pretty T.V. armoire.Papa always called these old chairs "spit-n-whittle" chairs. The woven rope seat is a nice touch. This would go well with the saddle and the porcelain sign in that western decor or in the man cave.La-Z-Boy recliner in white leather. This rather small limed oak end or chair side table would go very well with midcentury modern.A blue La-Z-Boy recliner. This is a little more worn than the white one but it still has a lot of useful life left in it.I like tea carts or tables and this one is rather unique because the trays lift off and the frame folds. Come see just how it works. This is a rather nice maple dresser.Spring will get here and this would be great in the back yord to go "swangin'" on.A 6 foot Mohawk three point hitch blade. This is an older one so it is heavier than the newer ones. (That sounds like something that Donna would say about me.)This old 4 wheel wagon needs new tires but it looks like it's in pretty good shape otherwise. (Not something Donna would say about me.) It's J.D. green and it looks kind of like the ones that they used to sell where Uncle J.D. worked.
