*HISTORY OF THE CADE HOUSE:
- The Cade House was originally constructed in 1913 by Henry Basham using a foundation of 57 Bois D’arc blocks. Basham was considered to be a notable builder in the area and was also credited with building the Reese House and several of the homes along Swiss Avenue in Dallas. The Cade Home was constructed in the American Foursquare architectural style with hints of folk influences.
