Estate Sale - Rowlett

  This week we have a great sale near the west shore of Lake Ray Hubbard and just a few blocks east of Dalrock Road in Rowlett.  We have staged all of the items from both floors conveniently on the first floor of this two-story home and in the double garage, in the large shed, and on the connecting driveway.  The house is going on the market, and we’ll have fliers with information available at check-out.  This is an interesting sale because it contains family items from three generations.  We have a 1946 Lionel Train set, US Navy and Army Uniforms, and a variety of antiques and vintage furniture pieces.  We have Musical Instruments and lots of music books.  We have some electronics, TV/monitors, children’s books, and toys along with a sewing machine and miscellaneous items.

  There are assorted antique and vintage clock bodies as well as hundreds of clock parts (located in the shed).  We also have some interesting art (some signed and some vintage).  There are tools, ladders, yard & garden tools, and Christmas items in the garage and outside on the driveway.  We have vintage jewelry and some sterling silver jewelry.  We serve only one customer at a time for sterling jewelry, and of course we encourage you to come early for the best selection.  As always we will also limit the number of people in the house and will distribute sequential numbers on cards to those waiting to enter.  We’ll use the same numbers for jewelry located at check-out.  Thanks for your patience!

  Entry / Living Room / Art/ Jewelry / Checkout Area – features Rolling Stones poster from 1989, Thelonious Monk poster, collection of memorabilia antique cars, and old metal Tonka items; such as a Winnebago, a Dump Truck, and a Tow Truck.  We have lots of interesting items located at check-out.  There are foreign coins, military belts, scopes, and air guns (GAMO Shadow 1000 .177 caliber with 3-9x32 scope, a Crossman Fury CF1K77X, .177 caliber with a 4x32 scope, and Pellmaster 700 Single Shot 22 caliber rifle.  We also have some pocket knives, sterling spoons, and salt & pepper shakers along with a pair of sterling candle holders.  We have an antique three-tier Pie Crust Table full of collectable cars and trucks.  We have baseball cards and basketball cards (collectable) (priced by the box), a few comic books, and collectable magazines.  We also have the Mail Order Health and Strength by Charles Atlas 1953; 9 of 12 exercise mailers.  We have a great antique oval wood folding butlers tray table (unusual in that it folds).  We have nice area rugs and runners (some are wool).  There are two larger wing back chairs on either side of a folding buffet which matches the dining table and two-piece hutch.  There is an oval double door display unit with lift-off serving tray.  We have a collection of green Depression glass (some call it green crystal).  We have an antique arm chair with a hand painted disk in great condition with nice carvings.  The upholstered seat is in very good condition.  We have vintage jewelry and sterling silver jewelry; pins, bracelets, earrings, necklaces and rings.  We also have a lot of nice glass and crystal etched stemware on the buffet along with a few decanters.  Some have matching stemware.  We have a nice pedestal punch bowl set with some drink mix containers.  We have box of nice beanie babies.  There is a lot of interesting framed art on the walls.  Some art is signed, and some are prints:  The is an Abby Hoffman autographed photo, a reproduction Thelonious Monk poster – Town Hall Concert, and an album poster by The Doors “Light My Fire”.  Come early for the best selection.

  Front to Back Hallway – features a vintage oak baby crib approximately 40 years old.  There is also an antique Bar / Desk, a Wood Planter with Queen Ann Legs and a vintage wicker bassinet (also approximately 40 years old).  We are using the bassinet to stage vintage baby dolls.  There is a vintage Doll House in good condition.  Nearby are three matching ceramic pots.  We have two Nativity Sets in boxes - one is a large and the other medium in size.  We have WWII era military uniforms and lots of interesting framed art along with some vintage children’s and baby clothes.  Come early for the best selection.

  Dining Room / Furniture / Collectables / Johnson Brothers – features a great large lazy Susanne, vintage cups, lots of beer mugs, striped green drink cups and a nice luncheon and tea / coffee set (priced separately).  We also have some nice boxes, Avon collectable vintage bottles and an assortment of baskets.  We have some Johnson Brothers China; English Chippendale Design Patent 103,232 in a blue and white pattern (rare).  There is also a crystal bedroom set, some Atlas china and Majolica Tea Set.  We have some interesting assorted crystal, a very nice Lefton bowl, and some interesting crystal with sterling glass coasters.  We have some nice vintage Lamps with shades (BNI), collectable steins.  There is a great dining table with two leaves.  There are two matching arm chairs and four side chairs.  The matching lighted two piece china hutch is in great shape.  It has plate grooves and some great storage space.  The hutch contains some nice stemware and glass plates along with some great serving bowls.  We have a nice round vintage wood table with great legs and a nice vintage floor lamp with shade (BNI).  This room contains some nice framed art as well.  Come early for the best selection. 

  Front Room Office / Sewing, Books and Games & Toys - features some interesting vintage and near antique furniture.  We have a drop down wood desk, a four-drawer wooden small chest, and two boxes of Bubble mailers.  We have an older drop down desk by the window and another wooden desk with a pull-out drawer.  This one has two monitors an Asics and a HP.  One is a combination TV and PC monitor.  There is a vintage Projector and a Shredder (not a cross cut) and packages and boxes of cards.  We have a tall five-shelf white book case.  This room has some Dress Navy uniforms.  We also have a Singer Sewing Machine in a wood case.  There are two NEW HP 16A Cartridges.   There are two matching vintage desk lamps with square shades (BNI).   We have assorted cameras, desk organizers, staplers, pens, and picture or diary type books.  We have children’s books, sewing patterns, and material.  This room also has lots of board games.  There is one old monopoly set with the metal figurines.  Those metal figures are at checkout for safe keeping.  There is also a nice vintage open-back wooden shelf about 5-feet tall.  Look for the stuffed animals.  Some are vintage and musical.  Come early to get the best items.  There are also three camera tri-pods.  One is a U5000, another is an Instalok 970GQ1, and one is a Vanguard.

  Family Room / Musical Instruments / Collectables – features a Scott CD, Tape player and AM/FM radio book shelf stereo system (looks modern).  A vintage oak two-section rounded glass enclosed display cabinet with mirrored back.  This vintage piece has and open shelf, and the key is at check-out.  We have a small stool, a metal three section fireplace screen, and a nice coffee table with a beveled glass top.  We have a three-cushion floral couch and two Duncan Phyfe side chairs with recovered seats.  We also have an all wood vintage rocker with some carvings and a vintage pendulum wall clock.  There is a large framed mirror above the fireplace.  We have a square storage hassock, two wooden leather-top antique end tables, a matching leather-top coffee table, and two vintage lamps with shades (BNI).  There is an antique carved buffet in great condition with open bottom.  We have lots of collectables on the shelves like; coke-cola collectable figurines bears, willow tree angels, occupied-Japan items, and some DVD’s & CD’s.  We have some vases, precious moments and hand carved and painted sailors and captains.  There is an innovative technology IT turn table – looks new.  We have a Sony Audio / Video Control Center Digital Delayed Surround Direct Access Tuning / Preset Tuning.  We have a compact disk recorder CDR-850 (rack mount).  There is an old Atari C010472.

We have musical instruments:  Pearl Export Series Drums (REMO Weathering Coated Emperor) – bass, 2 Tom Toms, Stool, and High Hat Stand.  There are guitar cases; Kel Guitar Case, Oscar Schmidt Audo Harp with case and books, Melodihorn M-36, Fat Boy Guitar Stand, Anvil Equipment Trunk (no wheels), Yamaha TG 110 Acoustic Guitar, First Act Discovery Children’s Guitar, Yamaha PSR- E243 Keyboard, ISI Bogen Model C 100B Children’s Record Player – like new (works).  Come early for the best selection.

  Kitchen & Eating Area / Racing Bike, Bar Items / Dishes – features interesting cookbooks and some knick-knacks on shelves.  We have some cookie Jars, a soup Taurine, Platters, Pitchers, Jugs, and Pie Plates on the Duncan Phyfe table.  We have one leaf that goes with the table.  There is a great Corner Piece that has a clock and mirrors along with a small shelf.  There are copper molds on the wall.  We have baskets, chairs and picnic baskets.  We have some copper cookware, crock pots, a vintage Osterizer blender, Hamilton Beach Mixer, Toaster, and a Small Wave Fridge “Wind Enthusiast”.  We have a nice microwave cart on casters and a microwave oven by GE.  We have a Rival Ice Cream Maker and a Hamilton Beach Can-Opener,

We have a nice Ritchey Profile Design racing bike by the sliding patio doors.  There is a small set of dishes by Threshold and a smaller set of Coke-a-Cola dishes.  We have a Jack LaLanne Juicer, and a George Forman Baby George Rotisserie.  There are salt and pepper shaker sets, and a small set of white dishes.  We have table cloths, napkins, and placemats.  There is some plastic ware and a single square high stool and a copper canister set.  There are pots and pans, pie plates, casserole dishes, a glass pumpkin, and more.  We have HOME dishes (a small set).  We have lots of kitchen knives and steak knives along with a Mr. Coffee, and coffee grinder.  We have a Coffee/Tea thermos, plastic ware, and kitchen gadgets and utensils.  There are new items in the box on the window seat.  There is also a small wood chest of drawers in this room.

  Large Double Garage – features wooden crates including Ammo Cases.  We have rectangle ceramic tile, and a DeLonghi portable heater Bissel Preheat Vacuum.  We have many trunks, most are wood, and some are bigger than others.  We have lots of Assorted Suitcases along with a multiple of vintage hanging light fixtures – some have vintage colored glass (great for Stain Glass hobbies).  There is a Health-O-Meter Bathroom scale and a Portable Saw table.  We have lots of Christmas items along with assorted string lights.  We have some foam pieces and lots of hand tools.  There is a peg board with hand tools just waiting for you.  We have an entire trunk full of vintage Barbie and Ken dolls and other stuff.  There is a secretary chair, some folding chairs, Charcoal briquettes, and Hand weights – different sizes.  We have a Belt Sander and lots of gadgets and parts.  We have antique lamp parts.  We have coolers and pet crates.  There is so much that we have not found everything yet.  Come early for the best selection.

  Driveway / Patio – features a Toro Lawn Mower, Black and Decker Hedge Trimmer, Home Elite Yard tools and parts, along with another Hedge Trimmer.  We have lots of totes in various sizes and Bricks, Cinder Blocks, and Scalloped edging bricks all for sale.  There is a six foot folding ladder and a ten foot folding ladder.  There is a lot of yard art along with a cement bench.  There are sinks, lumber, and vintage metal Ice cream parlor / patio chairs and some wooden chairs.  Come early for the best selection.

  Large Shed / Clocks & Parts / Tools Motors – features lots of vintage clock bodies.  We have assorted springs, cases, pendulums, metal disks, clock faces, and clock hands.  Tools include Drills, a Table Saw, Bench Grinder, Belt Sanders, a Pro Lift Jack, Planers, and lots of Hand Saws.  There are parts for all sorts of items in this shed.  Come early for the best selection. 

  Master Bedroom / Boutique / Shoes and Boots – features The Australian Outback Collection Horse Riding coat in Black XL.  There are children’s and baby clothing (vintage).  We have some law-enforcement uniforms – patches on the shirts say “Sheriff – Rowlett”.  There is a grand Four-Post King Bed Frame with Rails.  We have a deep King Mattress and Box Spring.  We have a Down Filled King Feather Mattress Topper just waiting for you.  This room also has a Lingerie chest, a Jewelry Chest and two light blue wing back chairs. 

We have women’s clothing.  The labels include:  J. Jill, Talbots, Gap, L. L. Bean, Cold Water Creek, Loft, Dianne Von Furstenberg, Scala, Liz Claiborne, Valerie Stephens, Chico’s, Joseph A., Worthington, and Nautica.  The clothing is in sizes: M, L, XL, size 8 to 16. 

Men’s clothing labels include:  Hagger, George, Abercrombie & Fitch, Pierre Cardin, St, Johns Bay, and Skeffington.  The clothing is in sizes:  XL, 38R, 48L.  Women’s Shoes are size 8-8 ½, and Men’s Shoe are size 11 – 11 ½.  This room also has all sorts of accessories.  We also have a nice assortment of pillows and bedding. We have Twin, Full, Queen and King Size sheets and blankets.  Come early for the best selection.

  Master Bathroom - features Towels, Hanger Bundles, Sleepwear, and Foot care.  We have a nice small make-up chair and an assortment of over-the-counter lotions, etc.  There is a hand mirror and Shoe Holders/Hangers.  We have lots leather belts and a really nice divided cubical cabinet.  Be sure to come early for the best selection.
