A sale like few you have ever seen. The owner is moving to St. Croix and is selling many gorgeous furnishings and chandeliers, as well as glamorous ladies clothing and jewelry. Don't miss this one!

Note that the sale runs Monday and Tuesday from 10:00 - 5:00.

All items must be removed by close of business Tuesday, May 3, unless they are chandeliers and other lighting that needs a professional to remove. The house is sold and the new owner will take possession.

Baby Grand Vose & Sons Piano and the astoundingly beautiful large European antique bookcase are at a nearby location and can be viewed by appointment. 210-844-2130. Serious inquiries only please.

The grand 9' tall Murano glass palm trees complete with glass trunks are on site. The best offers will be considered on the trees as well as the Picasso and a beautiful pair of cloisonne fish bowls and the Rock Hudson "Narcissus" sculpture.

You will find big names here: International designer Carlton Varney decorated the home, and the window treatments alone are worth your time to see! All are for sale.

Highlights of the sale include:

Pair of 8ft tall Murano glass palm trees with glass trunks. Most have metal trunks, so the glass trunks make them extra special. They can be disassembled for shipping. Magnificent!

Palace size Kerman rug with soothing pastel green color dominating. Beautiful, vintage.

Amazing Murano chandeliers and sconces throughout the house. You must see!

Sculpture of "Narcissus" by noted artist Victor Salmones. Rock Hudson and Elizabeth Taylor were great supporters of Salmones and hosted exhibits of his work in their homes and on the grounds of their estates. The statue is reputed to be of Rock Hudson himself.

Antiques include a gate leg table with marquetry, 18th century small writing desk, two  late19th century Louis XIV chests, a long writing desk with gorgeous inlay marquetry on the apron, a wing back chair with carved wood "wings" and other beautiful furnishings.

The Louis XIV style chests, 18th century settee, custom designed furnishings, silver, Japanese and art from India, pair of Italian hand painted night stands, pair of open arm begere chairs with the current trending salmon color shown in magazines just now,  leather bound books are all in fabulous condition. A MacKenzie Childs bonnet chair and hassock with an irresistible coordinating rocking chair and bedding in bright pink and green are band-box new. Love it!

Pair of leather easy chairs with European style carved frames, hand painted leather vintage screen, a medium size tansu, Hollywood style four piece curved sofa set in custom made silk fabric designed by Carlton Varney, a curved sectional with great tropical monkey print is smashing! Great window treatments are for sale as well. And don't miss the garage filled with holiday decorations ranging from miles of outdoor garland and wreaths to Jay Strong water tree ornaments.
