Last chance to buy some of Jamie Maverick (Jamie Killian)'s fabulously popular art.......don't miss this opportunity. Furnishings include vintage and antique furniture, glassware, collectibles, stained glass and whimsical decorative accessories. From wrought iron to marble to oak and walnut, you can choose from an eclectic, artsy selection.
The sale will take place in the charming rock cottage and the back workshops where she created her one-of-a-kind Noah's Ark, floral and fauna creations, and adorable animal kingdom art works such as the cow jumping over the moon.
From older Mexican collectibles to French chests and gilded candle holders, the contents of the home reflect the owner's eclectic and somewhat whimsical style. She assembled many sets or pairs of items in addition to "found" objects and her own creations. The pairs may be sold as pairs if appropriate.
Two marble topped iron tables
Pair of French chests with lattice doors
Pair of gilt candle holders
Pair of Staffordshire style cows with great paint work
Pairs of European porcelain and ceramic collectibles
Pair of French night stands
Two upholstered side chairs in Fiesta pink and lime green
Other interesting and unusual pieces include: Rum and Whiskey porcelain casks, an authentic carousel horse, Mexican masks, several clocks, Persian rugs, a pub table and other iron work furniture, interesting linen clothes press, a large statue of Our Lady, dining table and cane back chairs, pine day bed, two large trunks or travel chests, two settees, small writing desk, an outdoor lamp post, wood working tools, paints, and supplies used in her art creations, assorted kitchen items ranging from casual to dressy, and many one-of-a-kind objects you must see to appreciate. "Fun, imaginative, and happy" are adjectives to describe the many things on hand. There is a surprise every where you turn both outdoors and inside the cozy cottage.
The house will be for sale. Contact Betty Boston, Nix Realty, 210-863-2909 for information.
