A Lifetime  of Treasures is planning to do an Estate Sale at this lovely home in Windcrest the 3rd to last weekend in August.  There are MANY nice things in this home which belongs to Retired Major General H. E. Collins.  If you want to see some gorgeous pieces of furniture, room and wall furnishings, statues and military (Air Force) collectibles from hats ranks, cuff links and uniforms and air force paraphernalia to exquisitely assembled, factory built model jets, this upscale sale is for you. There are many men's clothing items from long and short sleeve to flannel and bath robes, and a horde of very fine shoes.  There are also numerous brass and copper items from pots to wall hangings, including large trays and two 30” brass reindeer.  There is also a silver plated brass reindeer lying down.  With several Pakistani coffee and end tables and a beautiful, ornately carved, wooden, 4 panel room divider screen, your home would be an exquisite array of fine work.  There is also a hand woven, Pakistani 4’ by 6’ wall tapestry that would grace any household.  The almost new Kenmore Elite washer and dryer would be a steal for anyone, and the unbelievably large and lovely Kingsize Bernhardt 7 piece bedroom suit would have you drooling.  With a single hospital bed, Walker, and other medical support items, this home has it all.  The Sansui stereo system is totally all-inclusive and has some tremendous speakers, a turntable, tuner, receiver, amplifier, and CD/VHS player. You won’t believe the huge collectible record/tape selections from vintage 45 and 78 RPM to a wide array of 33 RPM records, multiple albums, and tapes.  The assembly of books covers the whole spectrum from religion, medical, and air force documentation to novels and classics and large display books. There are also most informative books on aviation and other topics that would keep you enthralled for hours. The dining room has a gargantuous, ornate table with two 22" leaves and 10 chairs and an exquisite china hutch that would be to die for, and you would love the fine china, tea cups and stem ware, as well as silver plated items.  For the musicians in your family there is a full scale electric keyboard, and he has some gorgeous, cushioned bar stools that would be a great addition to any home with a counter.  With TV's, tuners, amplifiers, DVD, CD, and VHS players galore, your sound/entertainment world would be complete.  You'll also find a nice assortment of yard tools, a Black and Decker Jig Saw, a pole tree trimming saw, a Garmin, sundry garage items, an 8' aluminum ladder, and a relaxing glider.  This is just an opener, and there is much, much more, but it is definitely a MUST see. We’ll be adding narrative and providing some more great pictures as we continue to work on this one.
