Ahuva Shweiki was raised in Jerusalem, Israel. She holds a teaching degree from Shein College of Petach-Tivah, Israel and is a graduate of the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design in Jerusalem. She obtained her master’s degree from the University of Texas at San Antonio.
Ahuva has been teaching art for over 30 years. She works in oil, watercolor and mixed media. Much in demand for commissioned artwork, Ahuva’s paintings grace the homes of private art collectors and offices throughout the country. Her work has been featured in six one-artist shows in various locations in San Antonio and she has been the recipient of numerous art awards.
She currently divides her time painting, teaching and conducting workshops at her private art studio.
