Please read before bidding!

Placing a bid is an agreement to purchase. If you are the winning bidder, you are committed to purchasing and picking up your item(s).

If you default on your purchase, your bidding privileges will be revoked from CTBids and you will be reported. Please do not bid if you do not plan to purchase.

If you bid, you MUST be available to pick up your purchases on the scheduled pick up date unless you have made prior shipping arrangements.

CTBids auctions soft close. This means that a bid placed during the last 4 minutes of a listing will extend that listing in 4-minute increments until there are no further bids.

After You Win

A 15% buyer's premium will be added to the bid amount. Sales tax, if applicable, will be added to the bid amount.

Invoices will be sent out once the sale has completely closed. Payment is due immediately upon receipt of invoice.

Payments are to be made through PayPal, with a PayPal account or major credit card.

If you purchase multiple items, they will be grouped together on one invoice.

All items must be paid for before they are picked up.

If we do not hear from you within 48 hours of the auction's close, your items will be resold to the next highest bidder and your bidding privileges will be revoked.

Pickup Day

The street address of the pickup location will be on the invoice.

Any items not picked up during the scheduled pickup time will be considered abandoned and will be donated or resold.

Please bring necessary tools and help for picking up large items. Loading assistance is not available.

Shipping

Shipping is available for some items at our discretion.

If you require shipping, please contact LBleichwehl@CaringTransitions.net before bidding. All items that are shipped will be sent via USPS. Bidders will receive a separate PayPal invoice for shipping charges.

The shipping invoice will be sent as soon as possible, but depending on the size of the sale, it may be a few days.

Beautiful desk for 2! Glass topped carved details, Queen Anne style ball claw feet, 5 drawers on each side. Lovely condition with some minor scuffs/nicks. Measures approximately 30.5”H X 58”L X 39”W

Armchairs have lovely carved detail on back, legs, and arms with upholstered seats & matching decorative pillows. Measures approximately 41”H X 24”W X 22”D

Victorian Eastlake Platform Rocker

This platform rocker is from the late 1800s! The frame and upholstery are in very good condition and it’s very comfortable. Upholstery is in golden hues and frame is a lovely mid-tone wood. Very nice piece!

Ashley Furniture Dining Chairs (4)

These chairs from Ashley Furniture have a hoop back and a dual tone finish. The seat and lower sections are in a mid-tone and the backs have a darker finish, which makes for a lovely aesthetic. There are some small nicks/scuffs on various chairs but overall they’re in great condition! Each chair measures approximately 38”H X 19.75”W X 17”D

“Bus Ride to the Louvre” by Nelson De La Nuez (2000)

Here is an interesting example of Pop Art by Nelson De La Nuez entitled “Bus Ride to the Louvre” It’s a seriolithograph in color on paper from the regular edition of 850, signed and numbered in ink (657/850). The frame has some scuffs & nicks. Measures 16.5” X 21.5” without the frame. Frame measures 28” X 23” Certified appraisal & COA included.

"Spectators at the Tarkay Exhibit” by Marcus Glenn (2002)

This piece was created by artist Marcus Glenn. It’s a seriolithograph in color on wove paper. Signed in ink and numbered from an edition of 950. Frame & matting have some scuffs & nicks. Measures 18” X 24.5” Certified appraisal & COA included.

“Dance I” by Gary Benfield (2000)

This is art by Gary Benfield. It’s a seriolithograph in color on wove paper – signed in pencil, titled and numbered. From the special numbered edition of 100’s. Measures 23.5” X 17” Matting has some nicks. Lovely gold toned frame with decorative inner border. The frame has some scratches and spots. Certified appraisal & COA included.

“Ascension”

This 20” X 16” print is unsigned. It’s a lovely depiction of the ascension of Christ, with cherubs in the clouds, and a cross & Bible mounted on a rock in a pastoral setting. The frame is antique walnut with gilding and measures 27.5” X 23.5” Some scuffs, nicks, & damage to the frame.

“To Be or Not To Be” by Anatole Krasnyansky (2000)

This is a seriolithograph in color by Anatole Krasnyansky in 2000. Signed in the plate from the edition of 9500. Measures 20” X 16” without the frame. Certified appraisal & COA included.

“Old Fisherman with Boy” by Hy Hintermeister

This is a vintage print by Hy Hintermeister. This signature was first used by John Henry Hintermeister and was also used by his son Henry Hintermeister when they both were producing art and illustrations for calendars, magazines, etc. between the late 1890s and 1940s. This makes the distinction between the two artists work almost impossible. This print measure 12” X 16” and the frame measures 18” X 21” Frame has some scratches, nicks, & scuffs.

“Lil’ Orphan Otter” by Debra Dubac (2000)

This is a seriolithograph by Debra Dubac, in color on wove paper. Signed in ink, annotated ‘AP” and numbered (34/95). From the artist's proofs edition of 95. Measures 22” X 15” without the frame. Frame measures 24” X 30”. The frame has scratches, nicks, & scuffs. Acrylic material instead of glass in the frame – has several cracks, art not damaged. Certified appraisal & COA included.

“Two Femmes au Jardin a Theoule” by Jean-Claude Picot (2000)

This seriolithograph in color on paper is by French artist Jean-Claude Picot and measures 15.75” X 20”. Signed in the plate. From the edition of 9500. Frame measures 30” X 25.5” and has some scratches, nicks, & scuffs. Matting also has some damage. Overall a lovely piece of art with peaceful, relaxing vibes. Certified appraisal & COA included.

“The Chapel” by Alex Perez (2000)

Alex Perez is a 4th generation Jewish artist born in Chile in 1946. He seeks out subjects that reflect a peaceful and harmonious ambiance and beauty as a means of transporting the viewer to a serene, contemplative visual experience. That is obvious from the idyllic setting in this piece titled “The Chapel”. This is a seriolithograph in color on paper, signed in the plate. From the edition of 9500. Measures 15.5” X 20.25” without the frame. Frame measures 30.5 X 24” and has some scratches, nicks, & scuffs. Matting also has damages. Certified appraisal & COA included.

“Lighthouse Links” by Urbain Huchet (2000)

This is a lithograph in color on wove paper by Urbain Huchet, measuring 9” X 12”. Titled "The 18th At Hilton Head South Carolina" from the 2000 Lighthouse Links collection. Signed in pencil, annotated ‘EA’ 40/45. Frame measures 17” X 14.5”. Certified appraisal included.

Contemporary Glass Top Dining Table w/6 Chairs

This contemporary dining set has a lovely glass top table with 2 round bases and measures 72”L X 44”W X 30”H. Also included are 6 chairs, 2 of which are armchairs. The armchair seats are covered in a light blue fabric while the other 4 are covered with a multicolor (blue/yellow/white) striped fabric. Armchairs measure 36”H X 23”W X 20”D and the others measure 36”H X 19”W X 20”D. The table is in good condition with some minor scuffs on the bases. The chairs are also in good condition with some minor staining on some seats and minimal scuffs and scratches on the frames. Contemporary Buffet with Mirror

This lovely buffet & mirror match the glass top dining table and chairs we have listed in this sale! The mirror has a lovely frond-like design at the top which gives a peek-a-boo effect and measures 52”H X 33”W X 2”D.

The buffet is in the same style and has 2 drawers, 2 cabinets, & a glass topper. Plenty of room to store your silverware, serving dishes, and/or table linens. It measures 35”H X 54”L X 24”. Both pieces are in good condition with minor scratches & dings consistent with use. A lovely set to accessorize your home!

Decorative Wall Mirror

Beautifully framed in wood with filigree and gold accents. Mirror has a black spot towards the bottom right and the frame has some scratches & nicks. Overall, this mirror is in good condition and would add nice ambiance to any room in your home!

“Plaza De Toros Mexico” Folk Art

Mexican Folk Art – Plaza De Toros Mexico – unmarked. This piece of art comes with all pictured figures. Most figures are either glued down or wired into the seats/ring. There is a missing figure that should be standing in the ring – there’s still some adhesive residue where it should be. It’s also missing the poles and pennants that should go into the holes placed around the top of the ring. It’s a very interesting piece and measures 10”W X 2”H X 9”D

“Banda Mexico” Folk Art

Here is an “open” ring with clowns, bulls, audience, & the band! The band is all painted in green and encircles the lower tier of the seating area. There are a few sombreros thrown around, some folks clowning around, and all are happy and celebratory (except for the gentleman being gored by a bull)! This piece has some damages such as figures no longer glued/wired down, a headless man on the right, & missing pennants. Measures 8.75”W X 2”H X 9”D. Unmarked.

“Helicopter” Folk Art

Here’s a cool piece, complete with (reattached) helicopter blade, 2 figures wired on the outside, and 1 inside. Colorful and fun! Damages include a crack along the base & glue/adhesive bubbling around the reattached propeller. Measures 9”H X6.25”W X 13”L. Unmarked.

“Taxi” Folk Art

Taxi with 3 figures, all wired down inside. Vibrant colors! Overall condition is good but it’s missing a figure and has a few tiny cracks/scuffs. Measures 5”H X 4”W X 9”L.

“San Andres Bus” Folk Art

Going on a trip? Why don’t you take the bus? This bus is decorated beautifully with the destination painted up front and several passengers (5) along for the ride! Some figures are wired in and some are loose. This piece is in good condition with no chips, cracks, etc. noted. Measures 7”H X 7”W X 9.5”L

Aston Court by Henredon Side Table/Chest

In addition to being beautiful, this is a versatile piece of furnitutre! It can be used as a side table, a nightstand, or as an entry table. It’s in the Queen Anne style with the curved detailed legs of said style and it has 5 drawers for storage. There are a few small nicks & blemishes, the feet all have scuffs/scratches, and the back-left foot has a small crack. Overall this little table is in good condition and would make a beautiful addition to any home! Measures 28.5”H X 29.5”W X 17.75”D

Wooden 2 Tier Side Table – unmarked

Cute & sturdy side table with a cabinet, decorative spindle style legs, and rail detail on the second tier. This item has some scuffs & scratches on the legs and tabletop – most of which are light or hidden by the cabinet. Measures 27”H X 18”W X 29” L

Pier 1 Imports Plant Stands

Here’s a couple of indoor/outdoor plant stands. Both have metal frames. 3-Tier: slatted shelves and measures 34.5”H X 12”W X 12”D. 2-Tier: woven shelves-top larger than bottom and measures 30.5”H X 12”W X 12”D. Sweet little stands to perk up your plants!

Set of Cedar Side Tables – 2

Handcrafted - Tables by Goodworks. 2 Cedar side tables which are indoor/outdoor. Both have inlaid crosses with dried flowers and pebbles inside. Very pretty and in very good condition! A few small scratches/nicks present but otherwise they look brand new. The smaller table measures 24”H X 17”W X 15.5”D and the larger one measures 22.5”H X 20”W X 19”D

Parker Mechanical Pencil

Parker mechanical pencil has “Clairol” stamped on the barrol, presumably as an advertising tool(?). Pencil has a very nice arrow clip and parker logo on cap. Like new condition with original case and booklet. This pencil takes 0.5mm lead and has some already loaded but doesn’t come with any extra.

Rumours & Real Nice Ladies Watches

These 2 ladies watches are in good cosmetic condition but need batteries as they’re not currently working. Rumours watch: Genuine leather gold colored band, 2 tone bezel, gold tone heart accents. Real Nice: Base metal bracelet style band, 4 clear bezels on band with mini beads inside. These very nice watches just need batteries.

Smiths “Dollar” Pocket Watch

This pocket watch was made in Great Britain ca. 1890’s. It’s a lovely timepiece with some scratches and scuffs consistent with age and use. This watch is a collectible that does not run.

Vintage Jewelry Lot

Here’s a lot of lovely vintage jewelry! 26” Red beaded necklace, 30” white coral chip necklace, 24” 1960’s Monet white ball bead necklace, 21” 1920-1930’s 3 strand necklace & earrings in various shades of pink & milk glass beads accented with brass, and a 22” 1940’s W. Germany exquisitely designed double strand  with tulip shaped base and clear colored bead inserts, and a 34” faux amber necklace with matching earrings.
