Before You Bid
• Placing a bid is an agreement to purchase. If you are the winning bidder, you are committed to purchasing and picking up your item(s).
• If you default on your purchase, your bidding privileges will be revoked from CTBids and you will be reported. Please do not bid if you do not plan to purchase.
• If you bid, you MUST be available to pick up your purchases on the scheduled pick up date unless you have made prior shipping arrangements. Items paid for but not picked up will be resold or donated with no refund provided.
• A 15% buyer's premium will be added to the bid amount. Sales tax, if applicable, will be added to the bid amount.
• CTBids auctions soft close. This means that a bid placed during the last 4 minutes of a listing will extend that listing in 4-minute increments until there are no further bids.
After You Win

• Invoices will be sent out once the sale has completely closed. Payment is due immediately upon receipt of invoice.

• If we do not hear from you within 48 hours of the auction's close, your items will be resold to the next highest bidder and your bidding privileges on ALL CTBids.com auctions will be revoked.
Pickup Day
• The street address of the pickup location will be on the invoice.
• Any items not picked up during the scheduled pickup time will be considered abandoned and will be donated or resold.
• Please bring the necessary tools and help for picking up large items. Loading assistance is not available.
• If you anticipate being unable to attend our local pickup, please contact LBleichwehl@CaringTransitions.net ASAP to see if alternate arrangements can be made. This is NOT a guarantee that arrangements are possible.
Shipping
• Shipping is available for some items at our discretion.
• If you require shipping, please contact LBleichwehl@CaringTransitions.net before bidding. All items that are shipped will be sent via USPS Priority Mail unless a slower service is requested. Bidders will receive a separate PayPal invoice for shipping charges which must be paid before items are shipped.
• The shipping invoice will be sent as soon as possible but our priority is getting ready for the customers picking up their items in person. This means that it may take a week or more before you receive your shipping invoice. We will do all we can to avoid delays on shipping & related invoices.
• All shipping orders will be charged a $5 handling fee for the first lot and $2.50 for each additional lot. Items requiring specialized packing will incur a larger handling fee, not less than $10 or more than $25. This charge will be included on your shipping invoice.
• Insurance is required for all shipping orders over $50. This charge will be included on your shipping invoice.
