Well, would you believe it…we’re back in Sherman for the second weekend in a row, and friends, this one’s a dandy!

The best way I know to describe this sale is it’s just like a mullet haircut—business in the front and a party in the back!

Now, before you think I’ve lost my mind, let me explain.

Walk through the front door and you’ll find yourself in a beautiful, air-conditioned home filled with all the things you’d hope to see at a classic estate sale. Gorgeous traditional furniture, sparkling crystal lamps, Waterford crystal stemware, fine china, beautiful artwork, collectibles, and room after room of wonderful treasures.

Then…make your way out back.

That’s where the party starts!

The barn is loaded with tools, workshop treasures, hardware, vintage finds, and enough odds and ends to keep even the most seasoned picker grinning from ear to ear. If you like to hunt for that diamond in the rough, you may want to pack a snack because you’re liable to be out there awhile!

And don’t forget to stroll through what I’m calling our Second Chance Garage. We brought over several pieces from last week’s sale that just didn’t get the attention they deserved because the lighting wasn’t very good. They’ve got a second shot at finding a new home, and you just might be the lucky one to take them there.

Oh—and just when you think you’ve seen it all, a couple of rooms will surprise you with a wonderful Asian flair mixed right in with all the traditional furnishings. It makes for a fun and interesting sale from beginning to end.

Folks, saying this sale is full is like saying Texas gets a little warm in July—it doesn’t begin to tell the story.

Whether you’re looking for elegant furniture, crystal, china, artwork, tools, collectibles, or just hoping to find that one thing you didn’t even know you needed, I can just about promise you’ll leave with a smile…and probably a full car.

So come on out, wear your comfortable shoes, and plan to stay awhile. There’s a whole lot to see, and we can’t wait to visit with you this weekend. Fear not I will post more pictures each day till the big sale. And as always the items I don’t talk about will be there too. The eye candy or bling! And you know the security will be on site too!
