We are absolutely delighted to invite you into the joyous home of Virginia Welder who was described by those who loved her the most as extraordinarily bright, talented, engaging, humorous, generous, and gracious.  As we prepared for this sale, we found evidence of those enviable characteristics throughout her home.  From her sketches and watercolors (she was a talented artist) to the books she loved…the humorous collectibles she coveted, and the array of beautiful items she carefully selected to craft a warm and gracious home, to the stories from friends who described how much Virginia loved being with people…and who are now lost without her laughter and her friendship.  We have heard that Virginia once said she was “one of the luckiest dames to have ever walked down the path.” With a wink and a tip of our hat, we will add “so were those who were lucky enough to have walked even a little part of that path with her!”
