This location is affectionately known as “the annex“... the house where James and Mitzie welcomed and entertain guests. It is packed with carefully chosen items from their travels.
As one might imagine, James’ love of books is on full display. This sale will feature his collection of signed and/or First Edition books on Texas and Texas history by:

Of all the accounts of lawlessness in the Southwest, few are more interesting than the life and times of Billy the Kid. Mitzie’s passion for “The Kid”, includes numerous first editions and other books, not only about his life, but also covering Lincoln County and the territory he roamed.
Of special note is a framed collection of 3 currencies recovered from the S. S. Andrea Doria which sunk July 26, 1956 in the Atlantic Ocean. A similar piece sold at auction in 2008 at Christie's in New York.
Original works of art including Raul Gutierrez whose works have been collected by the late Lyndon B. Johnson, former Texas Gov. John Connally, former President of Mexico Miguel Aleman, and Country Superstar George Strait.
