How to Bid

During the auction, the auctioneer will announce each lot number and requested bid. If you wish to bid, simply raise your bid card if you are bidding in person or click “Bid” if you are bidding online. We offer several ways to participate including in-person, online, absentee, and telephone bidding. The auctioneer will award the lot to the highest bidder who must pay the purchase price. At A&S Auction, we do not charge an in-house buyer’s premium. Winners of Absentee and telephone bids must have a valid credit or debit card on file with A&S and all purchases made at auction will be charged to that card at the end of the auction. Absentee and phone bidders pay a 5% convenience fee on all winning bids. Online bidders pay a 15% buyer’s premium, and all successful bids will be charged to the credit card on file at auctions ending.

How to Pay
All Items must be paid for immediately after auctions ending. For in-house bidders we accept all major credit or debit cards (credit card payments for in-house bidders include a 3% electronic convenience fee). Texas checks and cash. All out of state checks require prior approval by A&S along with a current bank letter of credit.

Picking Up
Purchases may be removed during or at the conclusion of each auction. For local pickups and larger items, we are typically available Monday – Friday from 9am until 4pm. Because of lack of storage space, purchases must be picked up within 14 days. Please call to make an appointment for pick up if you have to leave your items for a few days.

Shipping
If you live outside of the Texas area we will ship your items to you. We use several shippers and are happy to help you with shipping arrangements. We ask that prior to bidding you call for a shipping quote. Larger and high value items can be costly to ship and we ask that you factor that into your bid prior to bidding.
