| Viewing & Bidding for our August on-line auction is taking place now! Sale will close on-line, Tuesday, August 21, starting at 7:00 p.m. CST You may preview this sale in person at our warehouse,109 N. Elm St @ Water St (in back of Unity Thrift Store) This Saturday, August 18, 2018 and Auction Day Tuesday, August 21, 2018 from 10-6 both days. You may enter thru the big loading door on Water St. which will be open for entry. Please be considerate when parking as we share spaces with Unity Thrift. You may also park along Water street or across ELM in the lot on corner of Elm & Main. Please note: the Auction warehouse does not have air conditioning, and there are some un-level surfaces, so please plan your visit accordingly. To view pictures & bid, go to our website - www.waxauction.com, click on upcoming auctions, follow instructions to register (bidders need to be registered for each new sale) , look over the pictures & descriptions of the lots, and then bid away! Please note: bidding becomes fast and furious once the auction starts to closes, so we recommend that you view and register prior to 6:00 pm on auction day. This way you won't miss out on the action as it starts counting down. Better yet, its best to place a starting bid in advance of the sale on lots you truly want to win, just in case something happens in the final seconds. This method of closing out the sale is known as a soft close. This means that when a new registered bid appears in the 15 seconds the items appears on the screen, the program will automatically extend the bidding for 3 more minutes for that item to capture every last bid. Unlike E-bay, this on-line bidding system is much more precise in analyzing all incoming bids, and not just the last one in the cue at "straight up" 7:00 pm.
