Description & Details

This sale, like our last one in Clifton, is three days long because of the quantity of items we have to offer.  If you wish, call this a sale of "chotskis" because we have hundreds of small items, at least some of which may interest you.  In addition to the collections of specific types of items, there are many small items that you can purchase for very little money:  puzzles, costume jewelry, cookware, stemware, books, nicknacks. We have brought in two showcases to display the costume jewelry plus mint proof coin sets.  You will find literally hundreds of items here and there throughout the sale area, well arranged on shelves and on counters.  We agreed to do this sale because our clients did nearly all of the setup and they did a good job.

Collections include the gnomes, made of crushed walnut shells and resin.  This sale must have about 40 of them in varying sizes.  The Barbies that are "new in the box" we have put on the plaid sofa. The vintage Barbies plus MANY clothes are in boxes in the kitchen area.  The Starwars models and Lego kits are on shelves and on a table. The Fisher Price vintage toys are piled to overflowing on the table by the back window of the sunroom with some continuing on the floor.  We have only one John Deere tractor for you.  However, you will find four shelves of John Putnam miniature buildings as well as Norman Rockwell's Stockbridge buildings on the glass shelves near the corner.  You will find a silverplate thimble collection in a rack on the wall.   Note the FINE Chinese teak wall unit display stand on the left as you go into the bedroom.  Furniture includes a bedroom set of long dresser with mirror, short/tall dresser.  "Vintage" hard rock maple dresser is at the far back of the upstairs sunroom.  You will have passed the student violin and the classical guitar to get there.

This sale is Christmas in July because of the MANY Christmas items you will see.  Top of the list is the hand-painted felt-face Carolers and other characters.  You will probably spend a few minutes opening the drawers of the cardboard rack to be amazed at the assortment of ornaments there.  On to the right, you will find shelves and counters displaying many Christmas items, with more on the shelves at the end of that room.  To the right you will discover our "Halloween Corner" and adjacent "Thanksgiving area" with decorations awaiting you.  If you don't have enough yet, treat yourself to Department 56 Halloween figures.  I forgot to mention the Hallmark Christmas ornaments, the Hummels (rising slowly in price) and the "Byers Choice" items.

In the garage you will find the numerous bicycles:  Trek with Shimano 8-speed and Racelite and Cranbar handles; Cruiser Classic; Kent 2.45 Tena; Storm Huffy Mountain SEries; Firebar child's.  If you were waiting for the right price, we have a TuffStuff CW2000 universal exercise unit for sale (in the basement) and a Nordic Track CX1600.   You will find the electric scooter in the garage by Price, a pair of 6' metal ramps, bed rails for convalescent bed, Tule cear top carrier, Kitchen Aid refrigerator/freezer, zipup clear plastic wardrobe, 5-person tent and pup tent.

For lack of better space, you will find the CDs and DVDs near the fireplace while the twin-zie brass headboard we put in the back left corner of the bedroom.  The bedroom closet is where you will find "Lula Roe" (never heard of it before) and other women's clothes.  If you are still looking for a small refrigerator, we have one for you, also in the bedroom.  The digital ultrasonic jewelry cleaner is there as well as the cedar chest.

If you need nonexpensive china, you may like the Noritake "Colburm" pattern and the Rosenthal "gold wave".  We have found a few pieces of vintage colored striped ceramics -- very 1920s-ish.  You might take home instead the Villeroy & Boch "Twist Area".

So plan on a very quick visit to this sale but plan on ending up spending two hours as you will enjoy prospecting.
