     This sale has a lot of vintage (1940s-60s) items:  dinnerware, picnicware, cameras, costume jewelry.  You will find German items collected after WWII:  antique porcelain smoking pipes, carved/painted character face bottle corkers, ceramic steins, pilsners. A special item is a currency note signed by a GI with thanks to his European comrades.  You will find other old European currency along with coins.  The coin collection continues with coins and proof sets purchased over a 40-year period.
      The open livingroom/diningroom combination shows off a "mini" baby grand piano.  Nearby you will also find an autoharp, guitar, violin, recorder, and concertina for sale.  In other parts of the house you will discover MANY model planes.  There is a lot of aviation memorabilia and books on aviation history.  You may want to sit down to browse through some of the 600+ books on history and art, the 200+ postcards (including photos of war damage), vintage travel maps, and sheet music.  We have brought in 20 tables to display the enormous quantity of small items.  You will find the walls well decorated with artwork as we have been allowed to add picture hooks to the walls and thus brought in a variety of framed items.  There are 2 pieces of period Scan furniture for sale as well as a nice corner display cabinet which we have filled with colorful items, and two sewing cabinets.  The basement includes a workshop full of tools and hardware, woodwork and art supplies.  There you can sit down again to behold the galaxie recreated on a 6' x 10' panel, with revolving satellite and lighted "earth".
