TRUE ESTATE SALE.  FULL HOUSE.

If you've gone to estate sales for awhile, I'm sure you remember fondly the good old days when the items for sale were truly old and interesting. This sale is one of those. The lady of the house died last year at the age of one hundred and after living in the home for fifty years. Her late husband was career Army, a lieutenant colonel in the Medical Services Corps (attended West Point for one year, class of 1934) and fought in both World War ll and Korea.

Military items for sale include uniforms, helmets, trunks, medals and much miscellaneous. Vintage guns and Japanese swords.

Vintage tool chest and TOOLS. Asian items from years stationed in Japan. Many antique lithographs and many Ray Harm signed wildlife prints. Books, postcards and ephemera. Old marbles.

Antique furniture, bric-a-brac and practical items. Showcase packed with interesting smalls. Some jewelry and sterling including a pair of candelabra. Three pocketwatches. Large collection of Russian lacquer boxes. Old pewter. ABP cut glass.

China items/patterns include:  Blue Danube, Cuthbertson Christmas, Hutschenreuther, KPM clock, Meissen Blue Onion, Minton, Noritake, Rosenthal, Royal Doulton and Wien.

The sale is in a quiet residential neighborhood with ample parking.  Because it is close to a Metro station, parking is restricted on Friday. We have passes for the first twenty people to put in their cars while shopping.  There is also a park with lot nearby that likely is okay to park in.
