Congressman Alexander's life has been an exciting career of public service!

Mr. Alexander was elected from the 1st District of Arkansas in 1968 and was repeatedly re-elected until 1992. During his 24-year tenure in Congress, Alexander served 22 years as a member of the Leadership attaining the position of Chief Deputy Whip, fourth in rank in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Mr. Alexander was born in Memphis, Tennessee & graduated from Osceola High School in Osceola, Arkansas. He was an Eagle Scout and former 4-H member. Mr. Alexander attended the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville and later earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Rhodes College in Memphis ,TN. He earned his law degree from Vanderbilt University Law School in Nashville, TN.

Congressman Alexander was selected for numerous special assignments including:

-- Member, US Team for the US-USSR Dialogue (during the height of the Cold War);
-- Special US Envoy to Cuba (negotiated the US-Cuba Agenda with President Fidel Castro);
-- US Negotiator at US-Japan Rice Summit (reached a solution to the rice dumping issue);
-- US Emissary to Nicaragua (negotiated US position with Sandinista revolutionary government);
-- US Emissary to the People's Republic of China (in association with normalization of diplomatic relations);
-- US Emissary to Grenada (assisted in organizing a new government following liberation); and served as Chairman, The Speaker's Task Force on Central America (during the counter-revolution).
As the Founder, House Export Task Force, Alexander sponsored legislation to create the Foreign Commercial Service in US Embassies; and sponsored establishment of agricultural trade offices in 23 countries.
He was Founder, Mississippi Valley International Trade Center and was named Man-of-the-Year for leadership in international trade by the National Trade Net.

A sign-up sheet will be used for entry. Make sure you sign the sheet when you arrive. This will be used for order entry to this sale. Only 8 people will be allowed inside at one time. EVERYONE MUST WEAR A MASK to be admitted to this sale. Maintain a six foot safe distance inside and out.
When one person leaves, the next person from list may enter. Be patient & be prepared to wait your turn. It's worth the wait!

Reminder: It is against company policy to release any pricing prior to the start of the sale. No previews or pre-sales.

No Large Bags or Purses- Please leave these items in your vehicle. Empty Bags & or Boxes are permitted. Dominion Estate Sales reserves the right to inspect all persons & bags.

Security Cameras are in place inside and out.

PLEASE BRING ASSISTANCE TO LOAD LARGE ITEMS. We do not provide assistance to move items, per our insurance coverage.

Street Parking. Please be respectful and do not block driveways. Towing is enforced on days of the sale.
