Anne Iott, Fine Artist and Professor Emeritus at Tidewater Community College taught painting from 1971-1994. In 1995 she became the Founding Director of TCC’s Visual Arts Center. Retiring in 2002, Anne returned full time to her studio.

Anne has had 13 One Person exhibitions including her Retrospective in 2006. Her work has been exhibited widely in venues regionally, nationally and internationally in Italy, England and Denmark.The Museum of Modern Art, Stanford University, The Visual Studies Workshop, the Chrysler Museum and over 400 other public and private collections include Anne’s work.

Anne has received three academic scholarships, three national art grants including support for the publication of "Books of Contemplation”,  a six part Artists’ Book.

and has work in the permanent collection of MOMA. 
Anne’s remembrance of her friend Bertha, Fanny Taylor, (1929-1979) who taught a class for Anne to her students at TCC, Bertha at the age of 95, spoke about working with Georgia, O’Keeffe and Picasso. Anne tells me “their mouths dropped open and never shut!”
Anne has placed many works in her home for sale. Price are ranging 300 and up.
