We are pleased to present the Morris Family Auction of Pearisburg, featuring a wonderful collection of personal property from the estate of the late Kent Morris, a respected and well-known member of the community. An accomplished woodworker and craftsman, Mr. Morris took great pride in his work, and this auction reflects a lifetime of skill, creativity, and appreciation for quality tools and craftsmanship.
Among the highlights is a Pro-Line 7' x 14' Victory V-Nose Cargo Trailer, along with a selection of outdoor and lawn care equipment including a Husqvarna gas-powered lawn mower, Snapper SR928 riding lawn mower, and John Deere 14SE walk-behind mower.
Woodworkers and hobbyists will appreciate the assortment of tools and equipment, including a Central Machinery 16-Speed Heavy-Duty Drill Press, antique hand tools, and numerous shop-related items. Also featured are handcrafted wooden boxes and other pieces showcasing Mr. Morris's talent and dedication to his craft.
The auction offers a variety of attractive household and collectible items, including a Nags Head Hammock double hammock porch swing, wicker porch furniture, pocket watches, hand-stitched quilts, beautiful baskets, and an American Security steel gun case. Additional highlights include a PelPro pellet stove, antique toys, and a remarkable hand-carved wooden statue of St. Francis of Assisi standing over eight feet tall.
