Terms

Every auction lot is sold “as is, where is, with all faults known or unknown” without warranty or guarantee of any kind. We will do our best to inform you of any issues in item description, but they are sold "as is, where is". No returns, exchanges or warranties. Assume all items are untested unless stated in description. Every effort is made to describe the condition of the item accurately. ALL SALES ARE FINAL. A 15% internet buyer’s premium is in effect for all bids. Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express are accepted for payment. A $1.00 charge will be used to verify a credit card. The fee is released once the credit card is verified. If any bidder fails to pay their invoice within 24 hours of the auction closing or fails to update credit card information, they will be banned from any future auctions with Roane's Antiques at The Cottage LLC. NO EXCEPTIONS. If you do not have an ST-10 on file with us you will be charged the current Virginia sales tax rate. NO EXCEPTIONS. Please email completed ST-10 to roanesantiques@gmail.com before the auction is completed. Registering and placing bids means that the bidder has read and fully understands the terms and conditions of the internet auction and agrees to be bound thereby. When you bid on any item, you are entering into a binding contract. If your bid is the winning bid on any item(s) your credit card will be charged at the conclusion of the auction. Bids cannot be removed, changed or lowered once placed. There are no credit card charge backs. Auction ending will proceed as a "soft close". Items will begin to close at the posted hour and items (4) items will close every minute. If a bid is made on an item in the last minute of closing, time will extend on that item by 2 minutes, allowing for the other bidder to respond. If no further bids are made in that 2 minutes, the item will close. All paid for items must be picked up by the published time schedule. If not, the items will be deemed abandoned and become the property of Roane's Antiques at The Cottage LLC. Please do not bid if you are not able to pick up your items on the scheduled date. No Refunds. Please bring your paid receipt with you to pick up. Please bring whatever you need to safely remove your items, including HELP, wrapping materials, boxes, tools, etc. There will not be anyone at pick up to assist you with loading or packing.
