A LANDMARK EVENT !

Phoenix Estate Sales is proud to host a sale of unprecedented proportions for the iconic designer, ROBERT RENTZ. Mr. Rentz is downsizing and we are offering the contents of his showroom, ROBERT RENTZ INTERIORS, as well as the stored accumulation of many decades of collecting from multiple estates..  Before panic ensues, Mr. Rentz is NOT retiring, just downsizing. It is, however, a downsizing of epic proportions.

On Sept. 18 -- 21, the showroom at 1700 W. Main St., Richmond, VA will become an Ali Baba cave of treasures, with over 15,000 sq. ft. jam-packed with wonderful things.

Legions of clients have delighted in Mr. Rentz's signature eclectic style in designing rooms for homes all over the world. His international clients are especially grateful for his willingness to travel at a moment's notice.  Part of his enthusiasm for that travel is due to the fact that while he's working on site, he's also shopping. RELENTLESSLY !

Well-known in all the usual antiquing haunts in Paris, Rome and Madrid, Robert Rentz also has an infallible instinct for going off the beaten path and has brought back marvelous finds from such varied locales as a nomadic Kurdish encampment, a crumbling villa on Capri, and a Bavarian castle uninhabited for a half-century.

All his shopping is now our once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Instead of extensive travel, and bargaining in languages we don't speak, the fruits of many years of his labors are easily available at 1700 W. Main St., Sept. 18 -- 21.

To list everything we are offering at this sale would be impossible.  We will mention some stand-outs and try to cover categories, but even that attempt will be inadequate with 15,000 sq. ft. of furniture, accessories and art.
