You are responsible for removing your purchased items. We will not be able to assist you and you must attend to shop for bargains! We are accepting reasonable bids to assist shoppers in acquiring items they want. Bids will be reveiewed each night prior to further public discounts. During the Covid19 pandemic so many things have changed for small business owners.  In charming downtown Smithfield Historic District a fabulous antique shop that has been a shopping destination for over 22 years is permanently closing it’s doors. The owner Bob Redlin and his wife founded the business named Laura and Lucy's in 1998. This very successful shop which offered antiques, collectibles, art jewelry and “exquisite junk”. Unfortunately like so many businesses that have suffered dire consequences due to the Covid pandemic Smithfield is losing an iconic tourist  destination.  The shop is located in the center of Main Street in a beautiful historic building built in 1898 with 5600 square feet. The building is currently listed for sale and all of the contents will be sold by Carla Mingee Estate Services in a liquidation sale scheduled for 6 days beginning on August 29th.  The sale dates and hours will be Aug. 29th, 30th and 31st from 11am-4pm.
