   The items that will interest you in this 2-story VERY CLEAN house are furniture, ceramics, and clothes.  The house is furnished mainly in French Provincial and French Country-style furniture of high quality.  You will find oak display cabinets, armoires, tables, chairs, chest, even a hanging cupboard and document box.  There is also one French Empire-style marble top end table.  We have never had such an assortment of table lamps:  handpainted Italian and French, repro oil lamp with blue glass shade, 19th century vases converted to lamps.  We also have a bronze and white bisque chandelier for sale plus other hanging lights.  Other lighting devices are a pair of antique brass candlesticks.  Other furniture items are cheval glass, Ridgeway tall case clock, "linen fold" pattern credenza, nightstands painted blue (to go with the Delft lamps), dictionary stand, round Art Deco-style drink serving cart.

     Ceramics include 3 floral pattern dinnerware sets, one especially fine of bright assorted flowers.  Other fine pieces are white-on-blue jasperware wall plaques, urn, bowl, FINE gilt-edged white German tazza, cup/saucer, bisque female statue on column pedestal.  Complementing these are one large FINE seacoast painting, many smaller framed scenes of Paris or flowers, framed portrait sketches, 3 pairs of carved/painted wood French couples.  We are polishing the silver overlaid glass bowls for you.  The large silverplated serving pieces have already been polished and ready for you.  There are some Asian items in the house:  electrified metal lantern, framed "forbidden stitch" embroidery, lamps in Asian style, rugs.  We have several large good painting frames for sale that could be easily cut down to accommodate your items, so bring measurements with you of what you need. Who will buy the Murano glass clown, the piano-shaped jewelry box, the pair of malachite glass perfumers, the FINE furs (now out of season), the women's hats and hat boxes?

      We have closets packed tight with fine women's and men's clothes.  Size makes the difference.  Women's clothes include medium size gowns, beaded jackets, blouses, sweaters.  There must be 100 pairs of women's shoes, size 9-N.  There must be 50 men's suits and dress jackets, sizes 38-42, plus FINE shoes size 10-W.  We have counted 70 practically new handbags/purses so far that fill the closet shelves plus one wardrobe.  We plan to have them arranged on the bed and sofas before you arrive.  You men will have a rare opportunity to buy formerly very expensive silk neckties, belts, wallets.

     Now that it is officially spring, for those of you who want to do outside work, we have hand and yard tools.  If you just want to sit, we have a patio set in metal painted black.  If you want to ride, we have his and her "Open Road" bikes. The workbench in the basement is for sale, along with a big miscellany of other items that have been stored there.  Please bring empty boxes and canvas satchels with you.  We will provide newspaper and plastic bags.
