Items of Value

     You will thoroughly enjoy seeing the views out the back of this house from inside or out on the large deck overlooking a waterway that leads to the Potomac River.  If the weather is nice, you might plan to bring a lunch or eats to enjoy out on the deck.  We have some very interesting things to offer you in addition to a lot of clean modern furniture including sofas, dining room set, and three bedroom sets. 

     If you enjoy the outdoors, you will find two table/chair seating arrangements on the deck in addition to single chairs.  We have four brand new sleeping bags plus camping equipment in the garage for you.  There you will also find a very good kayak for sale.  When you discover the gigantic taxidermied buffalo head, you might consider taking a selfie standing beside it with your cel phone.  The head is about 4-1/2' high.  Yes, it's the real thing.  Imagine the noise that herds of these animals made running across open land in the 19th century.  This head has been taken off the wall of the garage to be ready for our sale.

     In the garage you will also discover five carved stone pillars, about 5' high, each featuring an animal on top of a quadrate post. They are known as "pixiu".  Do some on-line research to learn about them.  They are exceedingly heavy and were imported from China 12 years ago.  You might consider purchasing one to beautify your home garden.  They are real attention getters.  There also is a new riding mower.

    Behold the numerous paintings and framed items of many different sizes that decorate the walls and rooms.  Of very special interest should by two paintings, each 4'h x 5'w by Tim Howe.  Look him up.  They hang on the balcony walls overlooking the living room.  Also note a very early painting of a sleeping child by the now very famous manga cartoonist, Tsuyoshi Matsumoto.  Take time to enjoy looking at the many small items we have for you.  Who among you will be the first to seize the KitchenAid mixer in the kitchen?  There are also new or only slightly used kitchen gadgets and small electric appliances.

     At this sale we had space to bring in large items.  So, you will find large paintings as well as handcrafted pottery bowls and trays.  We have large antique wash basins.  Since we have a 3-car garage, I invited a client who is heir to and needs to empty seven public storage units to bring in items.  We loaned him 12 tables.  It looks like a store of vintage and brand new items.  You will enjoy perusing them.  The riding mower is new.  It is an RYOBI RM480ex.  The kayak is used but in very good condition.  It is  Hank Parker Hobie mirage sport fisherman.  We also offer you brand new sleeping bags and camping items plus 3 fishing rods.

    In addition to all of this, we are able to offer you over 90 women's handbags/purses, over 200 medium size women's outfits, over 40 hats (mostly wide brim), over 50 pairs of lady's sunglasses (new), and over 500 pieces of costume jewelry.  You will find these in the second floor bedrooms.  We ran out of space to stack over 90 plastic storage containers in a closet, so ended up putting another 30 on the floor in one of the bedrooms.

     Please bring canvas satchels and/or empty boxes with you as we have none to offer you.
