Who of you is going to take home the outdoor fountain of woman standing over a huge scallop shell or the outdoor wicker chairs to sit along with round stone mosaic patio tables?
We have hung a Chinese silk carpet over the sofa in the living room and another one in the dining room. The one in the dining room is splendid for its colors. If you ever wanted a genuine kimono rack, we have one. We have rehung much Asian art that was taken down, so take your time to look about you to make discoveries. Note also that many of the prints are limited editions signed by the artist. Look for the two vintage framed watercolors. In the upstairs hallway, note the wall hangings. You or your child might like the tapestry of the elephant.
We have created a child's room with vintage rocking horse and child's dress form. They stand among a variety of children's chairs. The dining room furniture is quality by Ethan Allen. We have reset the table with a Noritake pattern dinnerware that we found in the house. You will find three showcases in that room as well. Look for the three Lladro figurines sitting on a large sturdy chest of drawers. The matching cabinet is in the family room to the right of the fireplace.
Where will you find the hand-painted relief-molded Herend vase? Where will you find the two Tsuyoshi Matsumoto pictures? Elephant stools and Chinese barrel-shape garden seats you will find in a few rooms. They add color to the rooms as much as the faux plants add a feeling of warmth. The Asian theme even continues outside on the large deck. You will find a cast metal crane there as well.
We decided to group the Marine Corps items together on the landing going downstairs. We have the two military hats on display in the living room. More small military items are in one of the three showcases. We also have a "first" in our 44 years of doing sales. It is a collection of small precision hand tools. They were previously tagged with descriptions and prices by the owner. Another showcase offers you myriad animal and small people figures. However, you will not discover the three taxidermied fish until you reach the "man's cave" in the basement. Note the rugs for sale in that room covering the FINE cherry wood flooring.
To furnish your home office or study room, you might buy one of the small shelves on wheels, or the larger ones, or the two sizes of bookcases. They are all teak-veneered and ready to go.
