Description & Details
Hold on to your hats, folks!
It's our last sale of the year and it's the biggest we've had in some time!
This weekend we are liquidating the personal property of a former pro-rodeo family. We've got a two story vintage home with basement and TWO outbuilding s for you to shop.
We sold a lot yesterday, but there are way too many really great things left!!
So, HALF OFF EVERYTHING TODAY! (except the horse, of course!)
Please note that this property includes horse stalls, trailers and a few other outbuildings that do NOT have items for sale. We ask that you do not bother the horses, horse owners, or buildings that are marked nothing for sale in here - please keep out. There is also a VERY friendly dog that wanders outside, so I will ask you to please take care when pulling in and out of the driveway. She will not bite you, but she will definitely want you to toss a ball!
This home is packed with fantastic western/equine decor, lots of vintage items, a few antiques and lots and lots of surprises!
I'll start on the back porch, where you will be passing through to enter the home. NO shopping the porch until we are open!
Out there you'll find some old saddles .... There's a McClellan Calvary saddle (partial), a Zaldi jumping saddle, and a pretty beat up saddle - pretty much decor only. There are yokes, western/cowboy decor, Nexgrill gas bbq grill, patio set, concrete block with Montana silver inset. Lots of fun out there!
You'll come into the house through the kitchen, where we've got a gorgeous ball and claw foot dining room table We've got chicken decor, small appliances, old kitchen items, Johann Haviland "Moss Rose" china, Japan "Moss Rose" china, clear glass (this is the time of year to use it!), pots n' pans, flatware and lots of misc. Off of the kitchen there is a small laundry room with household cleaners and a slightly older washer and dryer that's also for sale.
To the left of the kitchen, you'll pass through a small hallway with a curved curio cabinet filled with tea cups and a tea set. You'll also find some artwork by St. Helens artist Helen Knaupp.
In the master bedroom we've got a black leather recliner with cup holders and storage, 2 nearly perfect antique oak bow front dressers with mirrors, an antique oak washstand, a Drexel drop side end table and some decor and linens.
In the main room (straight through the kitchen) you'll find us! But that's not all. This room is packed with amazing things. There's a stunning leather sofa and matching chair, newer lawyers bookcase, old hops basket, antique smaller glass front cabinet, side tables, cowboy books, hats, pro rodeo watches, yokes, lamps - a few different styles, old painted red chest, tin signs, Montana Silversmith's sculptures, longhorn horns, large Insignia flat screen TV, western towel/hat/coat racks, iridescent amber glass, antlers, some crystal, antique rocker with leather seat and honestly... way too much to try and list it all!
Through the little hall and up the stairs we've got plenty of goodies too! A fun painted dresser - use as is or make it your project, cowboy boots - with the good, dirty patina - women's size 7-7.5, men's size 8-8.5, more western decor, matching oak end tables and coffee table, full size painted wood vintage bed with mattress, some clothing, vintage baby clothing, full size antique brass bed with mattress, armoire/media cabinet with pull down desk, huge vintage metal desk (free if you move it!), a newer HP printer and office supplies, vintage wedding dress and a few other goodies.
In the basement (to the left of the kitchen entrance) -
SO MUCH DOWN THERE! To the right we have our "bargain" area - misc. kitchen and other items, to the left we've got archery supplies - compound bows and arrows, gun cleaning supplies and cases, pocket knives, hunting clothes and shoes, garage/basement refrigerator-freezers (also free if you move!). In another basement room there is a mobility scooter (needs battery and some love - but make us an offer), tools, household supplies, some Christmas, a little bit of furniture and some great/ usable saddles! Lots of other odds and ends down there.
Just please be careful on the stairs - there's no handrail.
The fun doesn't stop in the house - we've got outbuildings!
The smaller one of the two (watch your step going in) has some project furniture - tables, chairs, etc. Rafts, oars and camping supplies. Large camp chef two burner propane stove, yard tools, large kerosene heater and miscellany.
In the bigger of the two outbuildings you'll find a beautiful Cribbon and Sexton enameled cast iron stove, vintage locking fire cabinet (looks really cool!), 3 air compressors, 2 power washers, Renegade solvent free parts washer, power edger, gas and electric weed eaters. Lots of vintage tools - including a H. Disston and Sons saw. Roping and horse tack, Chicago Electric 90 amp flux wire welder, motorcycle jack, Black and Decker workmate table/vise. Outdoor heater. Lots of chemicals and household maintenance supplies.
There's also a little outside the buildings - yes, it's going to rain and be super soggy out there! But, we've got patio chairs, work carts, shopping cart!, aluminum wheelchair / cargo transport hitch... and of course - "Pedro" the roping bull on wheels.
OH and I can't forget this sale's star:
Meet JD. Yep, we're selling a horse! JD is a 7 year old gelding who won the quarter horse congress in 2016 and 2017. He's a handsome boy and is super sweet. JD is for sale, but we will also be taking into consideration that he goes to a good, well equipped home. He's a little bored and needs someone to play with.
No list on Sunday
If you are caught bothering the horses or horse owners, workers trailers, or tearing around in the lot - you will be asked to leave.
Is that all? I hope so!
This is going to be a great sale and a super fun way to close out our year!
See you there and let's all have a good time!
OWNERS AND WORKERS ARE LIVING THERE.
