“Part Picker’s Paradise, Part Priced Pretties and Practicals”

This sale will be a little different than our other sales…  Actually, a LOT different!  The homeowners are in their 80s and are downsizing to a smaller one-story home.  They’ve lived here since 1980!  The house is very full and, final week before the sale, they are still trying to decide what they are taking…  BUT… the pile(s) they are leaving for the sale get bigger and bigger every day!

It only took one day for their home to sell – totally unexpected!  They have moved slowly trying to make decisions about forty-three years of collections in this house, as well as their previous residence, and family inheritances.  Literally, we are working “side-by-side” while they try to make choices.  We have the living room set up and most of the dining room, one table in the kitchen, the big “adult” bonus room and bar downstairs,  and a guest bedroom… but every other room is total chaos!  

Oh, and there is a HUGE workshop right behind their packed garage FULL of all sorts of amazing tools!  

We have been and will continue to work l-o-n-g days right up until the sale begins on Saturday.
