This week’s sale features a sumptuous home which has been lived in by one family who built it in 1959! It is a large home with a mother-in-law apartment built in, so there’s lots of stuff inside and out, including:

Antiques and collectibles: Circa 1900 oil and parlor lamps, including Limoges; silver plate flatware and tea sets, etc.; clocks, including 1890s Waterbury wall clock and Stromberg-Carlson 1920s tall case; 1904 art nouveau Singer treadle sewing machine stamp collection; prints and paintings; mirrors, prints, paintings; wash stand sets; some vintage books, quilts/linens and old fishing poles; old rockers; copper kitchen ware; Kings Crown cranberry glass hanging lamp and crystal chandelier; some pottery and porcelain, including pieces by Weller, Roseville, Lladro, Noritake, Belleek; old domed trunks and foot lockers; costume jewelry and a few furs; a little barware; furniture and glass (see below); etc.

Musical: Lovely baby grand piano; 1940s Silvertone console stereo; Peavey amp head and twin tall stage speakers, plus other CD/DVD players, other speakers, boom boxes and radios; good quality music boxes and musical décor, etc.

Vintage mahogany furniture: Duncan-Phyfe dining set; nice medium sized china cabinet; sideboard; Lane Sheraton Revival cedar chest; Victrola case; Victorian carved armchairs and 1890s Empire Revival rocker; curved 1940s shelf with nice detail; writing desk; 1920s galleyed lamp table and other occasional furniture; etc.

Vintage glass and china: Cranberry glass, including Venetian cut stems, Fenton coin spot and hobnail, Steuben sherbets, etc; King’s Crown and pink depression glass; red transferware; Westmoreland and Fenton blue slag glass; two fine china and one ironstone dinnerware sets, plus lots of porcelain teapots and cup/saucer sets; etc.

Garden/patio/outdoor items: Great 1960s wire mesh patio furniture, handsome wood picnic table/benches, garden carts and tools, nicely kept plastic patio furniture, lots of potted plants and planters, metal plant stands, trash cans, Edge Hog, etc.

Good used furniture: Nice wing-back chair; Beds, shelving, cabinets, end and lamp tables; sofas in great condition; solid rock maple bedroom and occasional furniture; cheval mirror and hat rack; glass paned serving stand w/cabinet for storage; three like-new La-Z-Boy swivel recliners; lighting, desks, dinettes and dining room pieces, etc.

Tools and related items: Great old workbench; large vise; pressure washer; small air compressors; Work Mate; Craftsman table saw; shop vac; ladders and step stools; portable fans and heaters; plus a number of hand tools and related items

Sewing: Good machines, including Singer Pro Lines with Baby Lock and Under Lock; Singer Futura II; treadle and console sewing machines; sewing implements, supplies, etc.
Quality kitchen ware: lots of unused 1970s Pyrex, Fire-King, Tupperware, Revere Ware; Kitchen Aid mixer with lots of attachments; lots of good quality kitchen utensils, small appliances, etc.

Washer, Dryer, Freezer, sewing machines and vacuums, all in good condition

Christmas items galore, including nice selection of snow globes, holiday linens, large table décor, etc.

General Household: tons of pantry and cleaning items (you’ll never need a regular store again!); tons of plastic bins and Tupperware; tons of lovely throw pillows, blankets, table linens; office supplies; silk flowers and general décor items; some women’s clothes and lots of purses; etc.
