Description & Details

Dear Friends,

The Crane Gallery is closing after 40 years in business selling Asian art and antiques.  As the last existing Asian Art Gallery in Seattle, the owner Cheney Cowles will be devoting his time to his health and will be resuming his appraising services in the near future.  His associate Larry O’Rourke will be offering a giant collection of Japanese prints and paintings.

  •  All inventory now is offered at one-half the marked prices.   Please check in for additional photos as we are still sorting through the collections.

  • Included is a large collection of Chinese, Japanese and Korean ceramics.

  • We have Japanese prints, screens and paintings.

  • There is a collection of Southeast Asian material as well, including textiles, sculpture, bronzes and ceramics.

  • Also included is a selection of Korean, Japanese and Chinese furniture, plus Chinese snuff bottles, Japanese silver, netsuke and inro pieces.  No ivories.

Please contact us at cranegallery@earthlink.net or call 206-298-9425, or Larry@jlorourke.com or call 206-919-9650.

Thank you,

Cheney Cowles and Larry O’Rourke
