Hi Everyone,

 

Set your sites on our sale this weekend because we are having a great estate sale this weekend!  Is starts Friday the 24th and runs through Sunday the 26th in the Arbor Heights area of West Seattle.

This house is filled with lots of furniture and collectibles.  As a long-time member of the NRA and well established firearms instructor, the items reflect the interests of the gentleman of the house.

 

We are adding photos daily as we set-up, so please check-in for updates.

COLLECTIBLES: There are cases of smalls include jewelry, military emblems, the huge array of patches and pins (mostly military and NRA), gun related items including a large selection of rifle and pistol parts, many scopes from different eras, rifle cases and boxes, ammunition crates, vintage ammo crates, fishing gear and other related items.  Also are many cameras including instamatic, Polaroid, 35mm and a box piece.  Also are volumes of first day issue stamp envelopes, some mint coin sets, coin books, state quarters, Kennedy half cents and Eisenhower Dollars.

FURNITURE:  There are many pieces of Mid-Century Modern in this house.  The beautiful drop leaf dining room table and six chairs is in almost mint condition and is made by the Hibritan Company and so is the side table/cabinet.  This same motif is carried out throughout the living room that includes side tables, a coffee table, and chairs.  The master bedroom has a queen bed frame with matching dresser and mirrored dresser.  There is a single bed and dresser in the kid’s room and a nice set of blond furniture that includes a full bed frame, dresser and dressing table.  Also is a great hide-a-bed, a metal office desk, two oak desks, a corner cabinet that lights up, a two mini small drop leaf Formica tables, a set of four metal café chairs, along with other miscellaneous furniture items.

HUNTING and FISHING GEAR:  There are boxes of parts for vintage rifle and hand guns, barrels, and sites and scopes of different powers.  Also available is a gun vice, velocity range finder, rifle sheaths and carrying cases and a bb gun.  There fishing poles including fly and spinning, reels, flies and fly tying supplies.  There are also nets, a float tube and flippers, a pontoon boat that needs a new casing wrap and waist waders.  The Suzuki 9.9 oil injection boat motor is clean and in great working condition.

CHINA and KITCHEN:  There is a collection of small porcelain dog figurines, cups and saucers, dishes, pink Depression glass, kitchen utensils, wine openers, wine rack, pots and pans and cook-ware.

CLOTHING: The clothing is mostly men’s XL – XXL that includes Pendleton shirts, Military outfits (including a nice long army jacket with wool lining) and some outdoor rain gear.  There is a darling set of crochet kids and doll clothes, a set of little boys attire (Prince Andrew for Halloween?). And if you are a single lady, we have a nice 50’s wedding dress and cake topper, all you have to do is provide the groom. J

ART:  We have two very nice original oil paintings from the well-known Northwest artist Charles Mulvey, the larger of the two being 30“x18 – WOW and a print!  There is a remarkable wood and metal three dimensional Native American whale piece by Dick Fichter,  a set of framed vintage pistol drawings and other prints and oils in the hunting and fishing genre.

BOOKS:  Many books are related to guns and gun collecting, fishing, bird watching, Native American art and history, ladies mystery and fiction books with great graphics.  There is a nice set of Junior Classic Fairy tale books, two Huge dictionaries and other miscellaneous books.

MUSIC and AUDIO:  The Stromberg tube radio is in great working condition, the Sherman Clay mini tube radio turns on but emits no sound, and there is a Kenmore tuner/amplifier.  There are two computer flat screens, two small flat TV screens, an Acer mini laptop and wireless internet connectors.  We also is an HP printer and a Cannon printer.

TOOLS:  We have shop full of wood working tools. Craftsman drill press, Black and Decker 10” radial alarm saw, Jet 14” metal/wood cutting band saw, Delta 4” belt/6” disc sander, South Bend metal lathe (9" swing with 3'bed with accessories, micrometers, Craftsman jointer – planer, Arc welder, MIG- 100 welder, gas welding set, Honda generator EX-800, Sears half horsepower air compressor.  Magna router table center, block planes and miscellaneous tools.

GARDEN and MISC:  The patio furniture is modern and includes 8 padded metal chairs, two footstools, a side table and a glass large table.  We also have a chainsaw, an electric mower and other miscellaneous garden tools.

VEHICLE:  The 1995 Chevy BT Blazer runs great, is in great shape and has a clean interior.

MISCELLANEOUS: The Frederick Willys pool table is basement sized -  7’x4’ - and includes a set of triangle and balls, a pool cue holder and three cues as well as other breakdown cues and a set of balls.  The Kenmore sewing machine comes in a breakdown cabinet and is in perfect working condition.  There are two army signal  corps radios, National Geographic maps, some as early as the 30’s and three typewriters – including a rare early circular wooden antique piece.  We also have some vintage Christmas and Barbie’s with clothes and accessories.

Even the house is for sale.  Come by and check out this 50’s house which sits on a nice private lot, lots of parking, 5 bedrooms and a nice deck and carport!
