Ocean Bid Auction – Terms & Conditions
By registering, bidding, or participating in any Ocean Bid Auction sale, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
1. Bidding Agreement
Placing a bid constitutes a legally binding agreement to purchase the item if you are the winning bidder. All bids are final. Please review item descriptions, photos, pickup requirements, and shipping eligibility carefully before placing a bid.
Ocean Bid Auction reserves the right to refuse service, revoke bidding privileges, or cancel bids at its discretion.
2. Payment Terms
Invoices are emailed to winning bidders after the auction has fully closed.
Full payment is due by 8:00 p.m. the day following auction close, unless otherwise stated.
If payment is not received by the deadline:
Items will be forfeited
Bidding privileges may be revoked
All payments are processed securely through Square. Ocean Bid Auction does not store or have access to your credit card or payment information.
3. Shipping Policy
If you would like your items shipped, only bid on items clearly marked as “shippable.”
If you bid on an item not marked as shippable and request shipping:
Shipping will be refused
You will be required to arrange local pickup
Failure to pick up will result in forfeiture of the item with no refunds or cancellations.
For approved shippable items, actual shipping costs will be invoiced separately after the auction closes.
4. Pickup Policy
Pickup dates, times, and locations are provided in each auction listing and/or invoice.
Buyers are responsible for:
Bringing adequate help for large items
Bringing the necessary tools
Bringing packing materials
Loading assistance is not guaranteed.
Items not picked up during the designated pickup window will be forfeited without refund unless prior arrangements have been approved.
5. Item Condition
All items are sold AS IS, WHERE IS, with no warranties or guarantees expressed or implied.
Descriptions and photographs are provided to the best of our knowledge. It is the bidder’s responsibility to review all available information before bidding.
6. No Returns / No Refunds
All sales are final. No returns, exchanges, or refunds will be issued.
Failure to pay or failure to pick up does not cancel your obligation and may result in suspension of bidding privileges.
7. Seller Services
Ocean Bid Auction provides full-service estate auction management, including sorting, organizing, researching, photographing, marketing, and conducting online auctions.
Commission terms are agreed upon in writing with each seller prior to the auction.
8. Privacy
Ocean Bid Auction respects your privacy.
We do not sell, rent, or share personal information.
Payment information is securely processed through Square.
We own and operate our website and take reasonable measures to protect user data.

9. Limitation of Liability
Ocean Bid Auction is not responsible for:
Accidents or injuries during pickup
Damage after items leave the premises
Internet disruptions or bidding platform interruptions
Participation in our auctions is at your own risk.
10. Changes to Terms
Ocean Bid Auction reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of the website constitutes acceptance of any changes.
