AUCTION TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. All Sales Final

All auction sales are final. No returns, refunds, exchanges, or cancellations will be accepted except for verified authenticity discrepancies covered under our 30-Day Natural Gemstone Authenticity & Money-Back Guarantee or as otherwise required by applicable law.

Buyers are encouraged to carefully review all lot descriptions, photographs, measurements, and available documentation before placing bids.

2. Natural Gemstone Authenticity Guarantee

HZ Burma-Gems & Jewelry stands behind the authenticity of our natural Burmese jadeite, gemstones, and fine jewelry.

We guarantee that gemstones represented as natural are genuine natural gemstones. Jadeite described as Type A is guaranteed to be natural and untreated.

If a gemstone is independently verified to be synthetic, imitation, misidentified, or treated contrary to its stated description, the purchase qualifies for our money-back guarantee, subject to the conditions outlined below.

3. Strict 30-Day Authenticity Guarantee

All authenticity claims must be submitted in writing within 30 calendar days of confirmed delivery.

Buyers must provide an official written report from a reputable, independent gemological laboratory confirming a material discrepancy between the gemstone and its auction description.

Both the authenticity claim and supporting laboratory report must be received within the 30-day guarantee period.

No extensions will be granted under this voluntary guarantee.

Claims submitted after the guarantee period are not eligible under this voluntary guarantee, except as otherwise required by applicable law.

4. Independent Gemological Laboratory Verification

Authenticity claims must be supported by an official written report issued by a reputable, independent gemological laboratory, including:

Gemological Institute of America (GIA)
American Gemological Laboratories (AGL)
G?belin Gem Lab
SSEF Swiss Gemmological Institute
Other internationally recognized gemological laboratories mutually accepted by HZ Burma-Gems & Jewelry and the buyer.
The laboratory report must clearly establish that the gemstone materially differs from its stated identity or treatment status.

5. Money-Back Guarantee & Return Requirements

For qualifying authenticity discrepancies verified within the guarantee period, HZ Burma-Gems & Jewelry will provide a 100% refund of the purchase price, including the applicable buyer?s premium, coordinating with LiveAuctioneers as necessary.

The original purchased item must be returned in the same condition as delivered, without damage, alteration, modification, or gemstone replacement.

Buyers must contact HZ Burma-Gems & Jewelry for return instructions before shipping an item.

Refunds will be processed after the returned item and supporting laboratory documentation have been verified.

6. Item Descriptions & Natural Characteristics

All gemstones and jewelry are described to the best of our knowledge based on their individual characteristics and available documentation.

Natural gemstones may exhibit inclusions, internal characteristics, color variations, and other features associated with natural formation.

Differences in subjective opinions regarding gemstone color, clarity, translucency, quality, rarity, craftsmanship, or market value do not constitute grounds for a refund.

All measurements and weights are approximate unless otherwise specified.

7. Buyer?s Premium

A 20% buyer?s premium applies to the final hammer price of each successful bid.

Applicable sales taxes and additional platform fees may apply according to LiveAuctioneers? policies.

8. Payment Terms

All payments are processed securely through LivePayments using accepted payment methods.

Payment is due upon receipt of the invoice.

Winning bidders are responsible for the final hammer price, applicable buyer?s premium, and sales taxes.

Items will be shipped only after payment has been successfully received and cleared.

9. Domestic Shipping ? Complimentary

HZ Burma-Gems & Jewelry provides complimentary insured shipping within the United States.

All purchases are professionally packaged and shipped directly from Washington State.

Tracking information will be provided once the order ships.

High-value purchases may require adult signature confirmation upon delivery.

10. International Shipping & Customs

International shipping is available to eligible destinations at the buyer?s expense.

International buyers are solely responsible for all international shipping and insurance costs, customs duties, import taxes, VAT, customs clearance charges, brokerage fees, and other applicable charges imposed by the destination country.

Buyers are responsible for ensuring that purchased items comply with their country?s import regulations and restrictions.

International buyers must contact HZ Burma-Gems & Jewelry before bidding to confirm shipping availability and estimated costs.

HZ Burma-Gems & Jewelry is not responsible for customs duties, import taxes, or additional government-imposed charges.

11. Bidding Responsibilities

All bids are binding.

By placing a bid, bidders acknowledge that they have reviewed the lot description, photographs, condition information, and auction terms.

Winning bidders are responsible for completing payment according to the auction?s stated requirements.

12. Disputes & Resolution

Any concerns regarding an auction purchase must be communicated directly to HZ Burma-Gems & Jewelry.

Authenticity disputes must be supported by documentation from a reputable, independent gemological laboratory and comply with the requirements of our 30-Day Authenticity Guarantee.

All disputes will be handled in accordance with applicable laws and LiveAuctioneers? policies.

13. Acceptance of Terms

By registering for and participating in this auction, bidders acknowledge and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
