Southwest in the Northwest! - Part ONE Estate Sale in Washougal

We're back at it this weekend! This time it's Washougal!! And... we'll be back at it again at the same place in two weeks. Yep, it's a two part-er!

This round is super cool. Lots of Southwest style, but it doesn't end there. You'll see!

BUSINESS FIRST:

Yes, there will be a sign up sheet that will go outside the home at 9am. You will be responsible for adding your name. We will line folks up around 9:50, in order of sign up. IF the house does become too full (we're only using the upstairs this round), we will resort to one in, for every one out.

Parking is tricky! You cannot park in the circular driveway during the sale. That is going to be for employees and large item pick up. You are welcome to drop off folks who might have a hard time walking. There is parking nearby, but please exercise caution. The neighbor is allowing for parking at his place, but we are still working out how that will work. Hopefully by Saturday morning, we will have that sorted.

Someone is 100% living in the home, so PLEASE do not disturb outside of sale hours. The man needs his sleep! ;)

I MUST DISCLOSE - this house was smoked in. Not for some time, but it did happen. We have done our best to clean every item that we came across. However, you may still smell some residual smoke.

Back to the sale...

LIVING ROOM:

South West heaven! We've got a gorgeous Equipale set of chairs with leather top table, piles of South West, Mexican and Native pottery, Kokopelli everywhere you look, chalkware bookends, a beautiful (and I mean it!) rustic secretary desk, tooled leather seat chair, lamps, brass horse fireplace set, leather moccasins, books, lamps, SW and Native sculptures, Native dolls, super cool cart style coffee table and matching end tables, well loved neutral tone leather sofa and loveseat, large/medium/AND small carved wooded bears, SW ladder, blankets, sheepskins, tons of great art (including Carol Grigg), deer mount (has some damage) and pronghorn antelope mount, rustic console/hall/sofa table, leather art, bull horn mount, lots of little surprises scattered about!

In front of the cash table you will find the sterling jewelry - lots of Native pieces here (more than seen in the photo)!! Rumor has it that there MIGHT be a squash blossom necklace!

DINING ROOM:

We've got Blue Willow! Lots of pieces... selling by groups, rather than the entire set - as we've got different makers and years. Nice ball and clawfoot oak dining table with 8 chairs (one is still downstairs, but we will grab it for you!), wine fridge (wine is display only), more great SW art, metal and glass hall table, lots of barware - Riedel and more, Princess House, crystal, (large glass display cabinet is NFS), vintage hutch, cute little rustic look cabinet, antlers, a little more SW mixed in!

KITCHEN:

NOTHING IN THE CABINETS IS FOR SALE - YET. We are working around someone still using the kitchen, so it's a little tricky in here. Pots, pans (I spied a LeCreuset!), bakeware, Pyrex, colorful kitchenware, some vintage, some brand new, some decor!! There is a rolling butcher block that was still in use when we photographed - but it will be available!

OFFICE:

This is not your typical boring office! We've got fantastic finds in here! MORE SW style along with a Sportsmans theme!! Decor, lamps, camel seat, great wall art, ducks, Mexican blankets, books, some office supplies, filing cabinets, some Alaskan decor, old school tv/vcr, boombox, computer supplies, printer, metal detectors!, loads of books on collectibles, super cute mission style chair with hunting/fishing print, (guns and gun cabinet are NFS), newer - antique look secretary desk, binoculars, pellet gun and lots of neat treasures tucked everywhere!

BEDROOM:

Oh we've got a closet full of women's clothing!! Shoes, too! Clothes in various sizes, shoes are mostly 8s. Tall dresser, nicer bed with brass frame, crosses and religious iconography, pair of nightstands, linens and pillows, cowboy and western decor and art, John Wayne art, stars, cute vintage small table/desk, rush seat chairs, quilts, Americana decor... this room has a lot to offer and looks so cute!

OTHER STUFF:

The entry way has a huge Carol Grigg print, cute wooden SW style cabinet, potted strawberry and a little decor. The bathroom has lots of hygiene products and perfume, some towels and a cute metal storage tower. Out front there is lots of yard art! Pots, planter stands, petrified wood and more!

PLEASE DO NOT START SHOPPING OUTSIDE UNTIL YOUR NAME HAS BEEN CALLED.

ADDITIONALLY - NO ONE IS ALLOWED IN THE BACKYARD. DECK IS UNSTABLE and nothing is for sale out there until the next round.

This is a great sale and it's only part one! Next round MIGHT be more feminine in style, but we never know what's still waiting for us. We've got a whole other level of house to get through! Fun fact - we will have the garage and it's contents next time!! DO not ask about stuff that is not for sale yet - our client is still making decisions and we aren't going to pressure him. :)
