This sale is for the contents of the entire house. It will be conducted in the home, the basement, two car attached garage and on the huge deck. The woman of the house was a crafter and quilter. There is a very large supply of craft supplies like beads, jewelry wire, yarn, cross stitch, latch hook, sewing supplies and fabric. There are three sewing machines (2 Kenmore, and a Brother ) and a BabyLock Serger. There are finished handmade quilts, quilt tops ready for finishing and quilt squares ready for assembling. There is also a large collection of baskets. There is a large assortment of Red Hat Society bags, scarves, pins, wall decorations.
There is a HUGE collection of over 100 Anchor Hocking Prescut "Star of David" pieces. Along with other patterns of glassware.
There is a 1920/1930 stained glass transom window, along with three smaller stain glass pieces in mission style.
The man of the house was a firefighter in Chicago from the Hook and Ladder 22 engine. There are some firemen items, a City of Chicago parking meter lamp, Cubs and Bears fan items. He also collected vintage items and had some family items. A globe, glassware and kitchen items, barware, crocks, beehive jugs, and enamelware.
BOOKS. All sales have some books, you could start a library with these and they are going cheap. Priced by the book or fill a box. History, entainment, sports, crafts, cookbooks, children, business, fiction and non-fiction.
