Pease read the info on the next page showing you the 'other side of the dollar. The Trade Dollar was establish to be used to improve trade with the Orient, with emphasis on the China trade. The reverse of the 1877 S Trade Dollar. This coin has a MICRO 's' mint mark. It appears that the employee used (maybe) the 's' that was designated for the quarterand NOT the Trade Dollar!!!1880 S Morgan silver dollar.
