Featured Pictures

The owner of this house was a collector and traveled to the Netherlands. Her collection includes artglass, pottery, porcelains and textiles from Sweden, Denmark and Norway.  She also collected American made pottery from 1900-1970’s, wrought iron and much more.

Here is list of some of the highlights. This sale will not disappoint you. It is worth the drive and the wait.

Large collection of pottery to include Rookwood, McCoy, Danish, Sweden *Lisa Jenson Bulldog,* Stig Lindberg figurine/ Fat horse, Badger pottery wall sconce, Belgium handled pot. Van Briggle, Weller woodcraft basket, Roseville. Early 20th century – 1940’s beer steins salt glaze one porcelain with Kaiser looking soldier bust form and pewter lid.

Glass: art glass paperweight collection some orrefors with cased glass, Swedish crystal owls. Steuben crystal art glass vase, pair of glass birds Oiva Toikka, Swedish crystal dresser bottles, Waterford wines and Sherbets.

Costume Jewelry and more : Tennesmed silver jewelry, fresh water pearl necklace with semiprecious stone and 14kt gold, 1910-1950s costume, ethnic jewelry.  At least 20 Parker and other vintage fountain pens,

Vintage wrought iron chandelier, candle stands table top and floor, pierced top work tables, early 19th century hinges, candle sconces, Scandinavian influence table top candle holders. Mis match parts, fancy grills.

Furniture: 1960’s light walnut bedroom set to include double bed, dresser with rounded top mirror, highboy. Excellent robin egg blue tin and oak strap travel trunks with inserts, birch futon, walnut caned chairs, 1940’s drop leaf kitchen table and four chairs, cute shabby side tables and chairs, four drawer bureau, walnut gate-leg table, lamps of all sorts torchiere , bridge, allacite table , porcelain, Mid Century modern medal ..candleholders to include Jarvi style not stamped, a hammered pair of Gothic brass candelabrums of three stems , Ystad Swedish brass Lily brass candleholders, large amount of unique decorative of interest. Vintage Typewriters and telegraph key. Vintage green metal file cabinets, "metal hair pin" leg work table,

Good Finds:  spongeware advertising bowl,* 1930’s chrome radiator cap industrial with two men at wheel for hot rod radiator cap or Cadillac,

WW2 photos of air field base – professional 10” by 14” photos, civil war daguerreotype of union civil war soldier in uniform without cap, Steiff puppets, Mohair windup toys to include animal figure knitting and walking bear (both working) , advertising smalls medals, pens and paper items, vintage clothing from Scandinavian along with dale of Norway sweaters, Hudson Bay blanket with trading strips…. coffee burlap bags from Africa, Navajo rugs( will have photos on site near sale date)  and Mexican blankets, lovely black silk and lace with beading early 1900’s woman’s dress with matching hat and purse.

There was a stored estate in lower level from a relative and we unpacked boxes of items to include Haviland China, vintage kitchenware’s, vintage linens, collectible paper items such as Audubon calendars, Chicago River walk calendars from the 60-70’s , artwork from the 40-50’s most prints but some we are in the process of researching. Nice chromolithograph advertising. Christmas. décor from the mid 2oth century ornaments, some Swedish made ornaments, vintage Easter décor.

Artwork: Picasso lithograph signed and dated 1961 Dove of Piece approximate; 8” by 10”, Woodcut Olive Norby, Walter Von Gunten scherenschnitte paper cuttings of owls and black birds, European lithographs, Nautical style watercolors. (more information on art closer to sale date.

Books to include nature, better novels, some children vintage. Historical.

Primitives: kitchenware’s and fun finds to include Door county cherry tins, pickle jars, kitchen utensils, rag rugs, small benches and tables, rattan woven ottomans, shelving, crates, metal ware pots, antique toasters, linens, Wedding ring quilt, Sleepy Eye pitchers, baskets, bean pots and more.

 also tools, camping equipment, blow up kayak in carrying bag, pop up canopy both like new, hand tools, garden tools and pots, ladders, canning jars (not old) canning supplies, camping pots and pans, wooden crates and boxes. Older work bench vise .

You are responsible for moving your purchases. Suggestions: bring a friend to help you shop. Bring boxes and pre-made up sold tags with your name. You will be having a very good time at this sale… Please be patient to get into the sale.  There are nice coffee shops close by.
