Public Health Dane County has given us the go ahead! We are moving forward with the sale as planned. In essences, we are a traveling thrift store that must conduct our business in local residences. We will be following business guidelines but a bit more stringent. In order to maintain safety at all times, we have some rules that will apply to all sales going forward until further notice. PLEASE READ- DUE TO THE FACT WE DIDN'T KNOW TURN OUT AND JUST FOUND OUT WE ARE ALL GOOD FROM PUBLIC HEALTH, THE OWNER OF THE HOME SOLD A FEW PIECES LAST EVENING WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE. I APOLOGIZE TO ALL- YOU ALL KNOW IF I PHOTOGRAPH SOMETHING, IT IS ALMOST ALWAYS THERE. THIS WAS OUT OF MY CONTROL.
#1 The sign up list will go out at 10pm Friday night and be located on the red table. This is to ensure no one is waiting outside for a list, etc. This will be the only list honored. Gel will be on the table. Please use it.
#2 Only 10 people will be allowed in the "shop" at a time. This will be strictly enforced. Please expect there to be wait times. YOU MUST WAIT IN YOUR CAR TO BE CALLED. We cannot have people milling about outside.
#3 Mask required and required to be worn properly. Over the nose at all times.
#4 Must gel in and gel out. Gel will be available right when you walk in the door.
#5 Social distancing is required. If there is someone in a bedroom, please wait until they are done. Entry into the sale may be slightly delayed if everyone wants to see the jewelry first. Only one person at the jewelry table at a time.
#6 This is not a browsing sale (I love those!). I hate asking that, but if there is nothing in the pictures you are actively interested in, please skip this one. We must keep numbers to a minimum. To all my garage buddies, this is not your sale- trust me. That one is in two weeks- I promise!
#7 As always, please stay home if you do not feel well or are not comfortable at the sale.

Antique African ceremonial mask-This is an important old "Bundu" mask from the Mende tribe in Sierra Leone and Liberia. It is a mask used by leaders of the women's secret society ("Sande" society, responsible for the education of young Mende girls in the responsibilities of adult life. Worn on top of the head, the rest of the costume attached at the holes around the bottom. It is worn in puberty ceremonies. About 1930
