Most of the issues from the late 1970s to 1990s are in a "read once" condition having been purchased directly from the shelves of comic book stores as new issues when published (the collector worked part-time at a comic book store in the 80s and purchased from comic book stores from the late 70s to early 2000s). The collection has been stored in comic book storage boxes with most key issues in bags, often with backing boards (see photos below).
