Estate Sale Of Home And Garage In New Berlin Wi

Located 2 Blocks South of Greenfield Ave. in this quiet area of New Berlin.  The home, basement and garage are filled with a great many treasures, and we continue to find more as we prepare for this sale. 

Starting with the main floor, the living room has a wonderful hall tree and mirror to grace the front entry.  You will also find a charming vintage secretary desk. Some mid-century-modern items, including a panther TV lamp - what fun! Some nice prints and decor on the walls, the former occupant loved Western and outdoor things and they are represented. There is a nice assortment of beer-related items - he was a former Miller employee. The attic was once filled with all sorts of old glass bottles that are ready for sale. Some are from beer, medicine or other advertising bottles. We also discovered a “case” with straight razors, all old and quite interesting. You will also find some costume jewelry and other “smalls.” 

If kitchen items are “your thing”, you’ll find lots! Dinner sets, wall decor, a kitchen table with extra leaf and 6 chairs! Ready to serve your family. 

One bedroom has a very nice floral love-seat, gently used, and also a sewing machine and desk. Some linens, women’s clothing, and a rather fancy “hope chest.” A standing cabinet and also a tall multi-drawered jewelry chest!

Downstairs (basement) is the “man-cave,” with some taxidermy, gun-related items, such as cases, vests, rifle-cleaners, ammo.  You’ll even find a “stable door”  that would be fun to hang. Scads of tools, including one radial arm saw and a Sawsall, bench-mounted band saw, other electrical tools, clamps, and useful wooden pieces. There are several dressers and a functional bar as well. Lots of barware, glasses and shakers, too. You’ll also fine 2 old lockers, great for entryways or a kids’ room! Several other cabinets and small cases for organizing your basement. There are several jugs, two are Red Wing, oil lamps, and other primitive items. A clothes dryer is also available. And tons of holiday items for your seasonal pleasure. 

The garage has more tools and useful items, some old-style wire baskets and milk crates, also a nice Schwinn bicycle. Also in the garage check out the automotive jacks, a winch, heavy chain, and tire ramps. There is some golf equipment and lawn and garden tools. You’ll find a lot of outdoor decorations and some chairs, also a patio set with round table, 4 chairs and cushions.
