Description & Details
As Time Goes By Estate Sales
223 6th Street
Racine, Wisconsin
We have a couple of small estates that have been moved to our downtown Racine store.
One estate has a nice collection of unique cat and dragon items, artsy to kitschy.
The "cat stuff" includes lots of Laurel Burch pieces: plates, trays, pillows, handbags, and more. Not many of your run of the mill ceramic cat figures -- most of it is more inspired, artist-style stuff. Big cats, little cats, tiny cats, abstract cats, cute cats.
Includes Jim Shore & Romero Britto cat figures.
Cat art too! The collector of cats was also an AWESOME needlepoint artist and we have over a dozen framed works, mostly featuring cats.
And a really fun DRAGON collection:
Dragons in carved wood, resin, stone, ceramic, pottery & glass. Some lizards too.
Dragon figures by Rick Cain, Michael Whelan, Windstone and more.
Great Dragon batiks by Kae Taylor and also some pen & inks by the same artist.
Steve Nowatzki leopard etching. Large Joseph Grippa serigraph "Blue Landscape".
Nice studio pottery and glass, art, books, Christmas and lots more.
Studio art glass including works by Sharon Fujimoto and Brent Cox. Collection of studio pottery.
Lots of other art.
Also, in honor of the 1st Anniversary of our downtown shop, we have lots of other new things in the store, and THE ENTIRE STORE will follow the usual Estate Sale process, including bidding and final day discounts.
Store is packed: tons of furniture, collectibles, antiques, records, costume jewelry and so much more.
NOTE - We will NOT have a sign-in sheet out prior to open on Friday. Shop opens at NOON.
Lots going on Downtown Racine this weekend:
Friday - First Friday - most shops open until 8 or 9pm
Sunday - Starving Artist Fair - 1001 Main St.
