If you like unique, different, interesting, unusual, amazing mid century items, this sale will blow you away. The majority of the contents of this home are from 1945-1985. Dorothy and William Schwartz, married for 60 yrs., traveled and lived an amazing life She was in NY appearing on The Arthur Godfrey show as one of the original Chordettes until 1952. He owned and operated Schwartz advertising and promotions in Sheboygan. They traveled the world and resided here to raise their family. This sale is one you will always remember. THE CHORDETTES; One of Sheboygan's golden treasures were the 4 ladies who won The Arthur Godfrey talent show in NY in 1947 and became one of the world's most beloved singing groups appearing on The Arthur Godfrey Show for many years and then recording on Cadence Records into the 1970's. Who doesn't remember Lollipop, Lollipop and Mr. Sandman. Although most of the memorable items from that time have been saved by the family or sent to The Sheboygan County Museum we have unpacked boxes of vintage dresses from their appearances on TV.
SCHWARTZ ADVERTISING AND PROMOTIONS - the family business: This home is overflowing with samples and items with all kinds of advertising on them. One of my favorites is the 4' high rubber molded bottles, Coke, Milk, Meister-Brau Beer, found in the attic of the home - plus coke bottles from other countries. Plan on taking a lot of time looking through this sale.

HIGHLIGHTS INCLUDE: Large Brass Antique cash register...Antique Sapho Plaster Statue of a standing woman, circa 1890, standing 33" tall...Trade stimulators, popular in American saloons during the 1880's, we have a cigarette slot style machine and punch table top gambling pieces. during periods when gambling was prohibited or where it was illegal these machine could be used with little fear of prosecution (sold as is)...Shepherd Ball BBQ, made in 1970 in Toronto, a grill with 2 grates shaped like a ball, a rare find.
