Our auctions present carefully selected Chinese antiques, Asian works of art, fine art, and decorative objects to collectors throughout the world. By participating in our auctions, you acknowledge and agree to the following Terms & Conditions, together with the applicable LiveAuctioneers Terms of Use.

1. Bidder Registration

All bidders must complete registration through LiveAuctioneers prior to participating in an auction. UELUXE reserves the right to approve, decline, suspend, or revoke any bidder registration whenever necessary to protect the integrity of the auction.

2. The Auction Process

The Auctioneer has absolute discretion in conducting every auction. This includes accepting or rejecting bids, resolving bidding disputes, reopening bidding, withdrawing lots, combining or separating lots, or canceling a sale when circumstances require.

The Auctioneer's decision shall be final.

3. Estimates & Opening Bids

Auction estimates and opening bids are provided solely as guidance for collectors. They should not be interpreted as guarantees of value or anticipated selling prices. Market demand ultimately determines the final hammer price.

4. Catalog Descriptions

Each lot is researched and catalogued with great care using available historical references, scholarly resources, and professional examination.

Descriptions, dating, attribution, dynasty, artist, maker, measurements, and condition represent our professional opinion at the time of cataloguing and should not be regarded as statements of absolute fact.

Collectors are encouraged to carefully review all photographs and request additional information before bidding.

5. Condition Reports

Most antiques naturally display evidence of age, handling, restoration, or historical use.

Condition reports are provided as a courtesy and may not describe every minor characteristic. The absence of a specific reference to wear or restoration should not be interpreted as confirmation that none exists.

Additional photographs and condition information are gladly provided whenever possible before the auction closes.

6. Authenticity & Attribution

UELUXE is committed to presenting every lot honestly and responsibly.

Unless expressly stated as guaranteed, all references to authorship, period, dynasty, school, origin, or attribution reflect our informed professional opinion based upon available research and examination.

Prospective buyers should form their own independent judgment before placing bids.

7. Buyer's Premium

A Buyer's Premium will be added to the successful hammer price of every lot.

The applicable premium is published within each LiveAuctioneers auction and forms part of the final purchase price.

8. Payment

Payment is required within seven (7) calendar days following the conclusion of the auction.

All invoices must be settled in United States Dollars (USD) using the payment methods approved by UELUXE.

Ownership of purchased property shall transfer only after payment has been received and fully cleared.

Failure to complete payment within the required period may result in cancellation of the transaction, suspension of bidding privileges, re-offering of the property, and recovery of any resulting losses or associated costs.

9. Shipping & Collection

UELUXE proudly provides worldwide shipping through trusted professional logistics partners experienced in transporting fine art and antiques.

Each purchase is carefully packed using museum-quality protective materials whenever appropriate.

Shipping charges are determined according to the dimensions, weight, destination, insurance requirements, customs regulations, and the specific handling needs of each object.

Shipping arrangements begin after payment has been completed.

10. International Buyers

International buyers are solely responsible for understanding and complying with the import regulations, customs requirements, taxes, duties, permits, and cultural property laws applicable within their own country.

Any governmental delay or refusal relating to importation shall not affect the buyer's obligation to complete payment.

11. Insurance

Shipping insurance is available for valuable purchases and is strongly recommended.

Insurance coverage, where selected, shall apply according to the terms established by the shipping carrier or insurance provider.

12. Collection & Storage

Purchased lots should be collected or shipping instructions confirmed within fourteen (14) days following payment unless otherwise agreed.

UELUXE reserves the right to apply reasonable storage charges for property remaining uncollected beyond this period.

13. Returns

All auction sales are considered final.

Returns may only be considered where required by applicable law or where a lot has been materially misrepresented according to these Terms and the applicable LiveAuctioneers policies.

14. Limitation of Liability

UELUXE shall not be responsible for interruptions relating to internet connectivity, LiveAuctioneers platform performance, communication failures, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control that may affect bidding activity.

15. Intellectual Property

All catalog descriptions, photographs, logos, and published materials produced by UELUXE remain the intellectual property of UELUXE unless otherwise stated and may not be reproduced without prior written permission.

16. Privacy

Information provided by bidders will be handled with appropriate confidentiality and used solely for purposes related to registration, invoicing, shipping, customer support, and compliance with applicable legal obligations.

17. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be interpreted according to the applicable laws governing UELUXE and in conjunction with the LiveAuctioneers Terms of Use where relevant.
